@xXCCLGXx You don't get it do you? They didn't cancel anything. It was never planned to be any longer than it was in the first place. That's how they do things nowadays. They plan something to be a specific number of episodes and fit a story into it. If it sells, they may plan to extend it. If not, se la vie. That way, if it does horribly, they incur minimal loss because they didn't over commit. The days of churning out episodes until the plot is completely lost are gone.They plan, execute, fin.

That's almost right.

They originally only ran 8 of the season's 26 episodes before stopping.

It returned to the network starting before the release of the 2nd film.

But only the next 9 episodes.

The last 9 installments unaired in the USA.

Still, it was ONLY seaason 1. And announced as Season 1. NOT a complete series.

That means there were intentions on doing a 2nd seasons.

Granted, thankfully, 26 episodes is twice as long as most modern cartoon seasons.

@orinanime If the broadcast was stop and go like that, maybe the ratings weren't very good. Plus, honestly, I don't think many of these recent Marvel series are very well marketed. I didn't even know this series existed until I stumbled across it accidently, and I'm very much in touch with everything Marvel. I think they need to do a better job making people aware that they're making these things. Nobody can watch it if they don't know about it.

Human Torch is a molecular level pyrokinetic. He can instantly cause anything to rise to combustion temperature (no he doesn't have to heat things with his flame to make this get hot). So he can sense the heat inside or out anything (bodies included) and cause it to vaporize from heat (up to a million degress but really just needs a fraction of that). Also he can instantly draw heat into his body freezing anything instantly. Ofcourse there is also his conventional powers.
