@Derinfrekans It's because its height is only 4'-7", I believe. In the original anime, Ash is only 10-years-old, so many Pokemon look gigantic, when they're not.

It's a bit disappointing actually. In my mind, Nidoking should be at least 9 feet tall.

im more of a fan of pokemon adventures manga ( the first three generations), where the pokemon fights are more violent (bleeding, deaths, and realistic move application to real situations!) and nidoking was like a F-ing T-rex in the safarizone!

I find it ironic that in the battle against Giovanni, Gary's Nidoking managed to easily defeat Golem. Yet in the Indigo league, Nidoking lost to a Golem.

@gamermik76 Nidoking is pretty Strong, its Power stats are in the max possible '5', and can reach to an attack of 311 at lvl 100 also if Nidoking has the Rivalry ability can increase its power by 25% in battles against male foes, however its power can decrease by 25% battling against a female foe.
