Russia and Canada are always up there with exciting hockey and a respected rivalry. I was watching this match in a bar with both russian and canadian fans, of course there was disappointment from the Canadian fans but in the end we all shared some drinks!

I agree with you but we were weak in net, we knew that going in...I blame coaching for the collapse...we went out in ht e 3rd playing a defensive stradegy, big mistake, our agressive forechecking got us to where we were and should have stayed on the constant forecheck,we hung back, I believe coaching could have changed that. Why not a time out after the 1st goal against, slow Russia down, at least after the 2nd, the 3rd tieing goal he calls time and starts screamin at them.. very poor coaching

I'm Russian Canadian so just imagine the emotions that were going through me watching this game. Both countries are fantastic at hockey, everyone knows that, the difference this tournament was the fuel in the tank that the Russians had. They never ever gave up and played the full 60 minutes without a single drop of hope being lost until the last whistle was blown. Fantastic come back, amazing game, greater win.

I love you Canada, but my heart beats for Russia. Well played both sides.

I am Canadian, beautiful comeback by Russia...big difference was poor goaltending(2 between legs) and poor coaching. We should have never come out in the 3rd trying to protect a lead, sometimes your best defence is a strong offence. Why did the coach not call a timeout after the 1st goal against, for sure after the 2nd, after the 3rd was to late, I blame coaching for that loss but Russia played like Canada in the 3rd and staged a great comeback, best in junior hockey, hats off to you Russians

in the third period, the whole team just shut down..there was no checking like in the first two periods, there was no pressure from the forwards, and the defence didnt do a good job getting the puck out of the canadian zone

just a full team collapse helped russia win
