In addition to this being a great song, this is really a stunning fucking video. It's really beautiful, and fits the music perfectly. I had the good fortune to get wasted on the Tufts Campus while in college and bash away on their equipment for a while in the basement where they practiced. Some things you don't forget.
I got to see Papas Fritas live totally by accident when they supported the Flaming Lips in Birmingham (UK).. I had never heard of 'em and they totally blew me away.. It was around the time their first CD was released.. I met Keith Gendel the bassist afterwards, and he gave me his miling address so I could send him one of my CDs!! (I'm a singer songwriter).. A Great band.. wish they'd get back together..
Really intelligent band- perhaps why they got out of the music business before it took them over. Loss for us, gain for them. Definitely great though. Wish the music scene around Boston found a replacement for them; there's probably one- we'll all find out about them after they are broken up too.
I had this same thing happen to me, except it was my wife, not my girlfriend. For some reason, this song made me feel better. I liked that it gave both sides. It helped me understand the pain and loss I was going through, to understand why she could do that to me.

This is definitely one of the most under-rated and overlooked bands EVER....that, plus, Shivika Asthana (the drummer) is too cool.
