  • Thank you for posting this video. The basic steps of simple scaffolding have been demonstrated very well.

  • try the swedish pluseight. and som clamps and tubes, then you have the best scaffold in the world...

  • Wrong way ! The ladder access is not rated for weight, in Canada. Turn it around !

  • You don't use the ladder access side for weight, it's not rated in Canada, its the access !

  • can not beat tube and fitting, cuplok and kwit fit is for cowboys wanna be scaffs

  • you can do anything with tube and fitting its much safer than kwikstage and stronger

  • I'm a scaffold builder, I have worked with pin lock, cup lock and safe way. I like pin lock for small scaffolds but if you want to build a hanging scaffold cup lock is the best.

  • a dont know where use are from but in scotland we use "quick stage" scaffoldin, kind of like what he's using there but better and more safe

  • I would LOVE to see it. Can you tape a quick video of it and post it on your channel?

  • aye sure, last day of work tomorow so i'l do it then.

  • I used 'Kwik Stage' fro 8 years then moved to tube. im from England by the way..

  • tubing takes too long, if its safe enough to use kwik stage then you might as well. saves a lot of time and hassle

  • Ur not a scaffolder! Americans CANNOT do proper scaffolding! tude and fitting is the only proper scaffold!

  • I didn't say it was the best. Why don't you tape a video showing us what you use?

  • @captainshanks82 He's fixing a chimney, not working on a ten story building. Tube and fitting won't perform better for this application and you will still be assembling you rig and waiting for approval sign-off long after he's completed this job. Accidents don't come from the scaffold, they come from the worker. Your tube and bits won't change that. These scaffolds are very safe for this application.

Tim shows a more detailed video at /watch?v=cCyk_-IrF4k

  • where's your harness?!!

  • That is Part Two of the Scaffolding series. If you start showing videos on your channel, I didn't see any by the way, you will soon discover it is hard to explain all things about a topic in 90 seconds.

  • dont think he needs one on that scaffold.

  • over 6 feet you need a harness

  • This video was taped before that regulation was enacted.
