Ha ha ha ha, nice work man, and I like the original sonic theme song you included too. Okay, I can recognise obvious characters, like mario, Samus, robotnik, bomberman, link, pac man, and that bitch from the grudg, but the only none super famous character I can recognise is spot, the 7 up guy.

Yeah, that pretty completely described Gunstar Heroes XD *SHOOT EVERYTHING!* The thing I love seeing about your animations is that I get to see all of those Treasure classics you and I both have such nostalgia for, though I wouldn't have minded seeing some more Alien Soldier, just saying, it's one of my absolute favorites from Treasure! :P

Also, we need to get Sonic out of the game and bring back Alex Kidd, I don't know why, but I think it could totally work, 3D Rock Paper Scissor action!
