well either a teacher nominates your or another student ambassador, i dont know if you can find out who did though. Look around the site for info on scholorships and stuff you normally have to write an essay.

i dont think you can ask a family member a boss maybe or someone you have babysat for? and for the exstra money know the money diffrence from us money to euro's, franks, and pounds. cause a doller here is like a 1.50-2.00 is europe. so i say bring about 200-400 extra cause your ganna wanna buy things

they may but it would be like "roaming" meaning its ganna cost alot of money to take your phone there, i got a travel phone from verison, they send it to you and you like only paid for what you use on it and then you send it back, you may want to look into one of those

I was the only one from my town too when i went. Just talk to the other kids that are going at the meetings, get to know them and on the trip you all become a family anyway so you shouldnt worry you wont be a loner and there will def be other kids who dont have friends going with them as well!

i did take a ferry from France to England, umm i guess it depends on who you are to if you will get sea sick, like i dont get any motion sickness at all so i was good, but like at first you feel the boat moving but than after like a half an hour you dont, so you should be fine =]!!

okay so flip flops are a no no! you can bring them to wear around the hotel and stuff but, can you really walk over 10 miles in flip flops comfortably? and sneakers are kinda a necessity you have to have them. I wore sneakers the entire time cause they were comfortabel and easy to walk in. sorry but in my opinon dont bother with the flip flops sorry =[

That is kinda weird, normally they go for about 10-15 mins for each group, was it just you or like you with some other kids?

I'm guessing it could be normal, every group is diffrent.

Cool have fun!!! Well they will give you a packing list but some things i think you should have or more like need are, ipod, camera, poncho(or a good rain coat), gronola bars(cause you never know when you may get hunry), a water bottle you can re-fill, and a good book! In my group there were 38 of us. and of course you do things with your homestay family, i got to go to school and got to walk around there city and stuff!!

dont worry i freaked out to when i saw how many people were at my meeting i had more than 100 families there. The amount of kids going does change after the meeting, casue its just too get information about everything so its not def that there all going. With finding out info the money and all kids drop and dont go. Everyone gets an interview and that is where you get accepted and all that is where you hand in your application and all. So dont stress and dont worry

Oh and, how much sleep do you usually get, a friend of mine went on a P2P trip about a week ago and she said that they probably got about 5-4 hours a night. Is that true?

you will not be with a guy during your homestay if your a girl but we had some guys stay with girls so yeah its never like official but idn! and the curfew for everynight depends on how much stuff you do during the day and what time you get back to the hotel but normally curfew is around 10-10:30 and you can have wake up call anytime between 5 and 10 so again it matters on what you do that day!
