  • Not to mention, sticky hands isn't "advanced" it's the first thing you do after the basics of Siu Lim Tao in almost every Gym. Chi Sao is advanced, even then it's a technique to improve sensitivity, reaction time, lines and incidentally, power (when creating an opening/spotting one and taking it, if often, fast-twitch muscle fiber improves). Once again, mute the guy and you get more info from Chun's style than you do the guys words.

  • Ip Chun is the man, the announcer doesn't know squat about what he's talking about. I knew he was full of it when said, "this style's all about deflection." It's about attack. Not deflection. Just mute the video and it's good.

  • In old times great ppl like him used to run the countries. They hv great minds and the phyical too. Now we hv punch of Big Fat Butts control the important positions and ordring dagnrous orders without dirting their hands. What hv we become?

  • you can also see my wooden dummy 7 days work cost around 60$ ;-)

    nice video..

  • Wing Chun and Aikido are both classified as 'soft' kung fu and are known as defense systems supposedly designed for use by women though Aikido was created by a man, Wing Chun was created by a woman. My question is, is it possible to launch a duel between the two systems and will there be a possible winner? On the other hand, is it possible to merge the two as one system? I wonder if a film of fiction had been made to show the two in combat against each other. Just asking.

  • @tuberobotto i feel that there is something i need to clarify about aikido first its not kung fu since its not chinese and second no martial art is designed for men or woman they are simply martial art and anyone can practice it with no disctinction between age or gender

  • i will learn wing chun from shi fu ip chun

  • delta wing chun kung fu academy!!!

  • pt2. This hall was called Wing Chun or 'beautiful springtime' (one of many translations). The animal forms were distilled into a compact set that can be taught within a short time frame, unlike the many years it took to be a kung fu master. Within the historical context of the oppression of Han people it makes sense for any rebellion to condense a fighting form that could lead to an army in a short time. The only real issue with this legend is how a nun was allowed in a monastary! Men only?!!

  • @mypetfish no it is not one of the many translations. wing is eternal, chun is spring. not beautiful spring. if it was beautiful spring it'll be called mui chun

  • In response to an email regarding whether Wing Chun was invented by a women pt1: Actually its all legend, there is no proof either way. So conjecture by both of us. Common consensus is that it was distilled by the nun Ng Mui who then passed it to Yim Wing Chun. Again legend : the relationship between Yim Wing Chun and the naming of the style is coincidental. There was a hall in the Shaolin temple where the forms were conceived.

  • lol Wing Chun wasn't invented by a woman but passed on to a woman, though lady "Yim Wing Chun" might have adjusted it :).

  • I help teach Kung Fu ... and am forever saying "Real Kung Fu Looks Bad But Is Really Effective"

    Living proof ...

  • v. good buts its YIP CHUN, and his father was YIP MAN bruce lees teacher and one the best wing chun masters in the world ever

  • i'm better. watch this:-

    wing chun dummy detailed

then you'll see i'm the best

  • shh

  • Grandmaster Ip Chun is an incredible man. His attitud is so relaxed and positive. I've been to his seminars and he's not someone you'll forget easily. I love the grin he gets when things hot up in chi sau!

  • Chi Sau is a game, it is not a fight. It is simply a training exercise to sharpen rections, timing and control of energy. It is a small part of the whole system.

  • oh my god, so good wing chun, wonder when I get this good, heheheh

  • He was just beating him around because he doesn't know any martial arts!

  • who does'nt know martial arts the son of ip man best chi sau in the world
