For the record, cats are as intelligent as dogs of equal size. Any cat can be trained like the one in the video, if the human has enough time and patience (cat qualities). Google "Clicker Training". I bought the book and can verify that it works.

My cat pees in the toilet and I didn't teach her. She just does her business and when I first noticed she did that I told her "You are such a smart and good cat" and I pet her and she gets very pleased. I don't give my cats treats becuz they do things for me, or do tricks--just becuz I know they like treats just like I like them every now and then.

Dogs aren't born knowing how to shake / sit / come/ stay, but can be taught very easily. I taught my puppy in one afternoon how to do all of them with a handful of dog treats.

GL teaching your cat - this one clearly knows what's up, but it's the 1 in a million that just shows you how dumb the rest are.

more impressive than being able to do the tricks is being able to catch it on video! My cats are super smart till I turn on the camera then they just sit with the "what you looking at" stare,lol. Very smart kitty and very patient, devoted owner.Kudos.
