You could also use a crimping tool and roll the crimp bead instead of flattening it. If you do that, then you can use a crimp cover, which will mask the crimped bead and it'll look exactly like a silver/gold bead. It looks really polished and cleans things up really nicely! Haha, plus I promise you that a crimp tool is much easier to use than the wrench (or whatever) it is you used! LOL very creative!
