if only the spikes from the spikers actually stayed were they hit rather than dissaperar and if a spike hit the same place twice it push the other spike deaper causing more damage or bouncing off also marines should be able to grab spike greandes and the covadent with the frag grenades.

The guns aren't that more advanced, if you're talking about covenant / brute weapons, they're a different race and have different technology.

Take Assault and Battle rifle for example,they have machine gun layouts and shoot bullets at high rates of fire, how is that different from ones we have today

erm you do know that first off sniper rifles dont change first off halo 1 sniper rife had nigth vision and didnt have depth perciption and halo is based on a future that isnt even that far so nothing changes except the style to make things lighter or easier fire and last i checked a snipers need a bullet that go atleast 1 second which all bullets do in and out halo so if your bullets are slow you must have a bad game or just slow yourself

A bullet needs to travel A LOT fucking faster than 1 foot per second. The standard velocity round goes around 1,500. Why don't you go learn some stuff before talking you little shit.
