I have this for ps1, it doesnt really look any different for the saturn though, maybe its just me. but if it is missing movies that the ps1 version had, I prefer the ps1 version still.
This was a great Saturn game for its time. It was also very challenging! I usually got stuck on the DRACULA2 stage. I once made it to CRATES, but died pretty early on. I miss games like these that were a test to your gamer skills!
just won the saturn version on ebay for 5 bucks. cant wait to play it after the video. i dont see why the later ones such as this got bad reviews. the production values seem really high for the time with that fmv and all and the gameplay looks arcade style and fun.
The Saturn version does indeed look better, but I found out that unfortunately it is missing some of the extra video clips the Playstation has. A couple I can name are a video of prepping the helicopter and pilot after viewing the third Strike file, and another one is where the general reminisces about his first field op during the Caspian mission.
this brings back memories i remember when i was a kid and i was in the bathroom my mom had bought this game for me and she slid it under the door i was hooked on playing it great game
I still got this game on my sega saturn plus it still works its a bad ass game just like desert strike/jungle strike but with pimped out graphics compared to those ones
Oh I remember this game, one of the best ever.. shame they killed it with the so called "sequel" to Nuclear Strike. This was a great series by EA before they went Global.
Love this game!

Funny thing is the firing squad seemed to not care that there was an attack helicopter overhead of them as they were pulling nick out to the wall!

AT the beginning it says Crimea- southern Russia. Crimea is not in Southern Russia and has not been since the time of the Tsars. Its in Ukraine.

I still wonder why Nuclear Strike didn't make it to the Sega Saturn. That's unfortunately the only Strike game without a Sega system version.

Interessante como eram os jogos de guerra da época. Hoje a maioria é com um soldado e arma na mão..sempre todos no mesmo estilo, até satura.

Man the FMVs really brought out the best in this game. It had an "action-drama" feel to it. Too bad I couldn't finish the game..

And this game is not hard at all!
Once you pass any one mission youll basicly fly thru that mission again knowing what you know from beating it the last time

Nuclear Strike wasn't so bad but I like the feel Soviet Strike had to it. Had to explain.

Geez, that message came out all wrong. I don't even know what I was trying to say. (no I wasn't drunk...lol)
I think I was trying to say that it is hard to explain the feeling Soviet Strike gave you when you played it.

I understand, trust me.
I still play today. lol

Wow, great opening FMV. The game itself looks rather cool, too. Never played it.
