You could have found some better back to school apps than that... What about Evernote, Google books/Nook/Kindle, ezPDF Reader, Documents to Go, Quick office HD, Wolfram alpha, Drop box. Those are useful back to school apps not the ones you mentioned (with the exception of Google Talk).

500W ultra PSU died in 2 days. GTS 250 overheated in a week, Logitech Keyboard Broke in a month. WD passport hard drive failure. and a barebones PC where the motherboard gave up.

though the replacement parts i got seem to work. maybe i just have bad luck
