That's the way the music industry works. They come up with a band template, make a hundred of them, then promote the hell out of the few that really make it big. Once their records stop selling, they move on to a new band template. I predict we can expect bands to appear using unusual instruments in the near future if groups like Cults and Princess Chelsea take off.
