I'm from the big ol' city of Houston. Zellweger is from a little ol' town outside Houston called Katy. Nothing against the good folks of Katy, TX, they know talent can come from small towns such as their's but I'm sure they were just as surprised. Ms Zellweger has done 'em proud. Her "Ruby" is what Texas women truly are about. She'd make a great Jane Long if Hollywood money was wise enough to realize it. Jane Long is considered the mother of Texas. This movie made Renee Zellweger for me... I never really paid her any mind before this movie, but after she is one of my favorite actresses. I think she totally out did Nicole Kidman.
