@dellaroux Nope.. Her guitar player is Anthony Wilson, an excellent performer. Elvis does not play jazz. She turns around just because she's listening to her band solos and interacting. She's a genius!
I don't like to limit people with comparisons. I love Ms. Krall's music but sometimes I think of Peggy Lee or Julie Christie when she performs. She's so cool and suave and effortless with her delivery. I wish I had talent too! :D
Hey, I’m a young artist, & I would really appreciate it if everyone would check out my cover of Michael Bublé’s “You’re Nobody till Somebody Loves You.” Although I’m knowledgeable that Michael Bublé was not the first to record the song, my version was inspired by his rendition, nonetheless. I promise you that you will not regret giving my version of the song a listen, & it will truly knock you off of your feet! So please listen & enjoy! Thanks!
I was at her concert in Belgrade! It was excellent! She played for 1.5 hour, and she was talking between songs, she has very good sence of humour, she was so funny! Music even better!!!
I Remember How Me And My Friend Would Always Skip 3rd Period Go To Best Buy And Listen To The "Bose Noise Canceling Headphones" And In The Intro IsThis Song Me And Him Would Relax And Listen To Her Voice Just Relax Us. :) Good Times
In Atlanta, there is a singer named Penelope Williams who sort of looks and sounds like Diana and plays good piano, too. I wonder if I could engineer a threesome with those two. I'll call them up after I win the lottery....
I am a punk rock fan and I love this song because when I have a throbbing headache I can't listen to a band like Operation ivy I have to listen to something smooth like this
Jazz has never been a staple for me....as I mellow, I enjoy the complexity of the sound and enjoy it even more. What was I thinking not to pay attention sooner.
Thank you for your kindness nazilralh. Perhaps, Ron Carter was before my time; however, I thought it was him at first impression from his sessions with legends over time. I will need to read up and listen to John Clayton; excellent. You are very kind and professional in helping me in the right direction. I appreciate you. Kevin Callihan or primitivecool
What year was this first written and sung bv? Music has no beginning nor ending. Ron Carter, the bassist, has that down hearted smile that is uplifting because he did not want to stop playing but Dinah wondered, you could see it in her fadr. nOTHING BAD ABOUT LOOKING HER OVER AND OVER AND OVER BECAUSE IT IS AS GOOD AS THE SENSE OF SOUND, YES!
I'm not a piano player but, it looks like a lot of strain on the wrists and hands too. I have respect for those who play it professionally performing for a living.
Hey YouTube this is REALLY skipping badly. Take it off and put it back on correctly, please. This kind of top drawer music cannot have mortal mistakes screwing it up, okay? Okay!
I was actually wondering about the same thing. Have you ever found out the answer; is it available on dvd? I don't even know if this is live or a studio recording... Hope to hear from you.
Ah, it's sad. If this was mainstream, many of the "Underground" musicians will get their rightful place. Technology did not make music more "efficient", it hindered it's growth to formidable rock bottoms. And, it's unfortunate that one of the building blocks of music that would be ignored is Jazz. As an blooming young musician, I cry for my generation.
@mtone9317 Saw her in a jazz club here in Indianapolis several years ago. It would have been WORTH the million, for sure. I n my case, it was, like, 30 bucks....and it included dinner! 8o
God that was nice I was stressed then this just mellowed me out.

East of the sun and west of the moon, we´ll build a dreamhous of love, dear.
Near to the sun in the day, near to the moon at night, we`ll live in a lovely way, dear,
sharing our love in the pale moonlight.
Just you and I, forever and a day, love will not die, we´ll keep it that way.
Up among the stars we´ll find a harmony of life to a lovely tune,
east of the sun and west of the moon, dear, east of the sun and west of the moon.
