@dellaroux Nope.. Her guitar player is Anthony Wilson, an excellent performer. Elvis does not play jazz. She turns around just because she's listening to her band solos and interacting. She's a genius!

I don't like to limit people with comparisons. I love Ms. Krall's music but sometimes I think of Peggy Lee or Julie Christie when she performs. She's so cool and suave and effortless with her delivery. I wish I had talent too! :D

Ah, it's sad. If this was mainstream, many of the "Underground" musicians will get their rightful place. Technology did not make music more "efficient", it hindered it's growth to formidable rock bottoms. And, it's unfortunate that one of the building blocks of music that would be ignored is Jazz.
