Does a single event imposed upon a person demonstrate that they don't possess free will? (although, to me it's obvious that no one has free will AT ALL--and also that, of course, bible stories are pure baloney).

After being told she would give birth to a son, Mary gave her consent and rejoiced that the Lord had "been mindful of the humble state of his servant"; she clearly was delighted to have been chosen for the task. I am not defending free will, nor do I even believe in the story, but your ignorance of the story is rather pathetic.

@iDeist God, being omniscient, obviously would have known that she would be in favor of it and the fact that she willingly consented is already enough to show that it was not against her will. Her will was not in any way constrained, 'dipshit'. Furthermore, even if she did not consent, it would not violate her free will any more than a person's free will is violated when they have to take a shit even though they don't feel like it.
@iDeist Of course there are references to Jesus' brothers and sisters- the only thing that is posited by the gospels is that she was a virgin at the time of Jesus' birth (only Catholics/Eastern Orthodox Christians claim she was perpetually a virgin).
