It is very obvious, isn't it? They definitely made the right decision and concentrated on standard dances. This video also shows how much standards have evolved over the years.  Donnie and Gaynor were the greatest in latin, that is undisputable.

Actually, I thought they were good, but they excelled in Modern/Standard. I liked this latin routine with all of the popular moves of that dance era. The

Hiltons are the best. I guess they performed this routine sometime before

they were a married couple. I can recall them from competitions when they first came to the States, but never took lessons from them.

quite awesome for a 10-dance champions. not an easy standard to compete in. the dancing itself? well, that was the way it was back then, (I certainly remember the coaching,lol). overall, comparing them to donnie and gaynor is good. donnie & Gaynor won how many world titles? marcus & Karen won how many world titles? yep, there will never be another michael jordan, or joe montana.

i hate it as much as you do but you can't compare choreography of 20 yrs ago with today.. I am sure people will make the same kind of comments about dancing today by 2028. =8*)

I agree too, though they seemed pretty good compared to the other dancers at the comp, they probably wouldn't have had a chance against Donnie & Gaynor if they had chosen all Latin.
