@marasia24 Yes but she isn't a bigger artist than Michael Jackson, Elvis or Madonna. Here in the UK none of Mariah's US chart toppers have reached number one. Like it or not the UK chart is important. Let's face it the artists I've mentioned have far more recognizable hits than Mariah.

I wish 'Can't Let Go' and 'Shake It Off' would've topped the Hot 100 because they both reached the #2 position. Now from a personal prespective, I wish 'Make It Happen', 'I Still Believe', 'It's Like That', 'Bye Bye' and 'Obsessed' would've reached #1 out of Mariah's US singles that didn't top the charts. Fingers crossed for 'Up Out My Face' or even better 'Angels Cry'.

shake if off was going to be number one but we belong together was blocking it for the top spot already. Mariah blocked her self from getting 19 number ones. Now i still love her music today but butterfly was my fav album, i didn't care much for rainbow or glitter but if Lead The Way came out i know that would of went number 1 hands down! so powerful, but i hated glitter besides that song and i want you. Her last 2 CDs are OK but i wish she would rest the voice and make more music like WBT

i love her but i hope her next CD has a good ballet song like we belong together or dont forget about us. thouse songs are the best from her all though her dance songs like honey are very good as well. touch my body wasnt really a fan of but hey it whent number one so good for mc. i like obssed alot more then that one, hope i gose number one. yea beyonce isnt afraid to move around and dance so that it distracts from the fact that she doesnt sing during her tours...ive seen all of them and her cd or back up singers sing most of the songs and she just says a couple words here and there and dances the most of the concert...mariah (since shes a singer) would perfer to just stand still and sing her song herself and thats how we like it

Yer, We Belong Together was realeased on 29th March 05 and Shake It Off in July, and she was still at #1 with WBT and kept herself off of #1 :(
If her 5 #2's had just a little more sales, then she would have 23 #1's!

I dont think "I Dont Wanna Cry" was a # 1 hit, bcoz wat i know is that she had 3 #1's from her debut album, 1 for "Emotions", 1 for "Mtv Unplugged", 3 for "Music Box", 3 for "Daydream", 2 for "Butterfly", 2 for "Rainbow", 2 for "The Emancipation.." and 1 for "EMC2". You forgot about her famous rendition of "Without You" that became #1 both in US and UK.
