@nakedsoap I am finding that the balls are ready when you can get a good cut on the soap, like when you make a cut and the soap is only just a smidgen tacky, not sticky and not dry. I made some today with my soft soap and the balls weren't smooth but I let them sit for about 15 minutes and then I could go back and re-roll to get that smoother finish. The best ones I've made are when I just get that great soap cut.

how long do you let them sit in the mold before you ball them up?
