They don't talk about the 14 Merril Marauders that were Japanese American who helped to shorten the length of the war, by translating and getting soldiers to surrender and also listening to the Japanese Soldiers at night, and knowing what they were going to do the next day!
My Grandfather, William Glen Farmer was a Merrill's Marauder and I am just now beginning to learn about him from the little information my father has on him. He was KIA in Korea when my Dad was three years old. When I see images on the screen, I think to myself, "Could one of those brave men be my grandfather?"
Japanese-American Nisei (Second generation) fought with the Marauders in Burma, while others did it in North Africa, Italy and France with the 442RCT and 100th Battalion
yeah, as a man once said, "the worst thing next to anarchy, is goverment". The men who fought in the pacific, whether they were chinese, japanese, british, australian, american, asian, or otherwise, were the bravest men who ever lived in our time. None of them deserved anything more than a long peaceful life after what they went through.
@ramberghini Read a book you stupid shit. We should have hung a helluva lot more Japs after the war. Watch "The Rape of Nanking", then open your mouth and say something smart.

The Battle of Shanghai took place in 1937, not 1932.

Mistake. 1937 was the year the Japanese bombarded Shanghai.

to destroy an enemy army, one only needs to destroy the industrial infrastructure supporting it.
