  • A war on drugs, a war for fools. Everybody realizes that there's a war, A LEGITIMATE WAR, on a plant, right? ... On a freaking plant. The US spends millions a year on this stupid war. It has been a HUGE failure. The only thing that the War on Drugs has accomplished, without a doubt, is brainwashing UN-enlightened individuals who are very ignorant on the subject of life. Some drugs aren't as acceptable as others, Marijuana is an herbal medicinal product, but it's the worlds most popular drug.

  • Want to end the war on drugs and save thousands of lives and thousands of dollars? Vote Ron Paul for president 2012!! /watch?v=h0GZznxMC14 /watch?v=RHBCsPYuKIs /watch?v=XjtL1xvcleA LEGALIZE FREEDOM Vote for logic and reason! Vote Ron Paul 2012!!! BlueRepublican (dot) org Thumbs up so people can see this! Spread the word!
  • DRUG WAR ... futile , STUPID,, destructive .. pointless fucking ideological moralistic OPPRESSION.... STOP IT ... end prohibition .. sow the SEED EVERYWHERE>>

  • Less free today, but more free, than tomorrow.

  • OMG ITS RADIOHEAD!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @Radney12 No shit Radiohead Elevator music... I'm officially old.

  • @girozone1 It's Karma Police

  • Peanuts have killed people. Marijuana has not.

  • Marijuana has been illegal for 73 years now. Obama has turned his dogs on the medical states after saying he would not use Federal resources to do that. Remember that next November.

  • fuck smoking weed its a gateway drug... ill use cocaine and heroin because they are not gateway drugs.

  • "The prestige of government has undoubtedly been lowered considerably by the prohibition law. For nothing is more destructive of respect for the government and the law of the land than passing laws which cannot be enforced. It is an open secret that the dangerous increase of crime in this country is closely connected with this." -Albert Einstein, My First Impression of the U.S.A., 1921

  • Who spells karma with a 'C'? It's a nice slow version, though

  • No plant should be illegal.

  • carma police bitches

  • By this point anyone with even a modicum of intelligence would realize that this whole drug war charade is a laughable joke which has caused the prison population to swell to vast proportions while not curbing supply AT ALL . The fact that I can just call one of any 3 people that I know at any time and have a bag of weed within an hour is proof the drug war is a failure. Even the term "War on Drugs" just sounds stupid and juvenile somehow..

  • $20 billion a year to modify the bill of rights. God damn, that's something strong that every american needs to hear

  • to be honest, its all workin out pretty well here in cali :) my friends just end up making all the money instead of the gov

  • think its about time America had a riot, its been a long time comin like :P

  • Carma Police from Radiohead =D

  • Karma Police is a fitting song... Too many suffer through this, so much time and money is wasted on this, America will get what's coming if the corruption isn't removed.

  • this is bull they are taking the topic off task about what is going on

  • sooo... was that a piano cover of Karma Police? I wish that would've been in the credits.

  • If we weren't all brain washed to be sheep to the slaughter, we could think of ourselves as adults and tell our governments to only do the Job we pay them too. In order to correct the current tyranny, a entire refurbishing of government and media is required, don't think for a second that one good apple will last long in the pig troth, A fully functional governance model equipped with adults will need to be established before power can change hands, simply over turning wont work for long.

  • @Php48 I agree. The current system can't be fixed. It needs to be replaced. The more I learn about the depth and breadth of sinister depravity that our govt has become, the more pessimistic I get about it ever getting better.

I would love to see my home state of Michigan peacefully secede from leviathan, abolish all centralized govt, adopt free market voluntarism, and embrace the Non-Aggression Principle as the one and only common law of the land. It's fun to fantasize, I suppose.

  • @rmcdaniel423,,, I love to sit around over a few bongs and discuss a perfect world, big changes at once would cause instability, to get to free market voluntarism we would first need to establish a non profit non loss market, the current greed of shareholders system has got to go and so do all the middle men. The first steps of implementing changes is to reverse the divide and conquer situation we find ourselves in. And Yes I agree common law is all we need.

  • @Php48 I don't understand how a market can exist in the absence of profit/loss. That sounds like pure, across the board egalitarianism. Like everything and everyone becomes the same shade of nothing-special gray. That particular detail is an economic model I'm not familiar with. Is it different than socialism/communism? It would have to be, if you also favor the absence of a govt, which would be necessary to enforce the grayness.

    Please explain more.

  • @rmcdaniel423 ,,, There's nothing gray about it, It works on interest free constitutional money, not as in free money but money's interest at the end of the day is the improvement of the nation. Any body would be able to get as much money as they like as long as its use is in the interest of the nation. There would be no need for a farmer to make a profit in order to grow his next crop, he gets a loan, produces the crop, sells it at the amount used. He also gets paid for his labor.

  • @Php48 Interesting. I'm still confused though. If anyone can get as much money as they like, that means it has essentially no value. You say there would no longer be profit, but the farmer gets "paid for his labor". That is profit, and implies exchanged value. Who decides what is "in the interest of the nation"? That seems like a dreadfully slippery slope, because it would need some form of omnipotent enforcement. We can't trust altruism to hold an economy together.

  • @rmcdaniel423 ,,, OK I'll clarify,,, Anybody could get a lone to make a product and create labor. The lone is paid back and the labor is paid for by the sale of the product, after a products production cost have been paid for it becomes a trade-able item.

  • @Php48 So when you wrote "anyone could get as much money as they like", you weren't talking about consumers in general, you were talking about specifically the loan industry? Ok. My next logical question is: Who is making the loans? My original fantasy premise was a stateless society, and you hate banks. Would you still keep a government? And what money is being lent? Real money held in someone's name, but out of their control, or fiat currency like we're destroying our economy with now?

  • @Php48 This is fun! :-) However, I've get to get some stuff done. I'm going to back off and let you have the last word for now. You're totally right about the value of just sitting down to chill with a joint among friends, trying to figure out how the future could be better. That's how congress should be run. LOL

  • @rmcdaniel423, All thing's would only cost the amount it took to produce them, prices would fluctuate depending on maintenance of infrastructure. Currently It's the bankers that are causing poverty and controlling our governments all for there own interests of profit. I was a mechanic, the customer would pay for 3 hours labor for a job I did in 1 hour, at the end of the day I sold 12-15 hours and only got paid for 8, this kind of corruption would not be possible in the economic model I propose.

  • @Php48 Things are only sold for cost of production, you say. Who sets those prices? As a mechanic you saw customers pay more than than the cost of your own labor. Do you own that business, or work as an employee? Did you account for the cost of greases & oils & all the "stuff" in the garage, machinery, taxes, insurance, advertising, licensing, mortgage, utilities, times of low business flow, and on, and on? There is a lot that has to be paid for in order to keep providing that service.

  • @rmcdaniel423 ,,, I was a employee, I'm just talking the con on labor not the mark up on parts, and the labor price reduction from customer to mechanic is apparently what pays for the overheads. The deceit with labor times is pure greed for shareholders.

  • @Php48 I'm totally on board with you about the banks. I've been learning the barebones details about the Federal Reserve, fractional reserve banking, and the history of money. It's enough to give you a brain aneurysm out of sheer rage.

I think where this idea is breaking down for me has to do with prices for goods & services, and monetary value. It seems that you favor controlling that, and our own history shows the perils of price controls & monetary manipulation.

  • @rmcdaniel423 ,,, Production value will always vary, but the trade-able item will all ways be what it is worth to the person who wishes to part with it and to to the person who wants it or needs it.

  • @Php48 Here's my take, bearing in mind I'm certainly no expert in this field. I think it's common for folks who come to see the truth of how things are being manipulated in such a bad way, to respond with an urge to try and manipulate things in a good way instead. The more I read & learn, the more I realize that just creates cycles of misery. Philosophically, I'm at the point where I think its time to stop manipulating, controlling, governing, etc entirely.

    Free markets. Free people.

  • @rmcdaniel423 ,,, Your right, as Adults with family's dating back to the beginning we all should well and truly have our necessity's sorted out, the only thing wrong with government is the illusion of mastery, if they just did the job there paid for with out there corrupt elitist status we might just find ourselves in a better world, but please try to get your head around interest free money and fair labor..

  • Yeah and their senseless persecution also creates criminals. Throw a guy in jail for a year because he had an ounce of pot, and he comes out of jail even more a criminal.

  • @fuck192ass - You're an idiot.

  • America, where you're free unless prohibited by law, all 400 million of them.

  • They brought marijuana into a criminal right by making it illegal. now it's unregulated at all, being on the black market. gang violence, i have no proof to back this up, but common sense tells me that it has increased, because of gangs fighting for territory, or supremacy in the marijuana trade. if it were legal, all the hemp, and marijuana subjects would be less taboo, there would be less violence, and ppl would have the REAL facts about marijuana and hemp uses.

  • Karma Police ... brilliant. Legalise it.

  • This is what you get... when you meeeeessssss with uuuuuuuus.

  • if u wanna take away my pot, gotta take it out of my cold dead hands assholes

  • "We call on you to end the war on drugs and the prohibition regime, and move towards a system based on decriminalisation, regulation, public health and education. This 50 year old policy has failed, fuels violent organised crime, devastates lives and is costing billions. It is time for a humane and effective approach."

This will be sent to the UN Secretary-General on Friday, June 3

  • I love Radiohead, one of my favorite songs :)

  • @nkbjpn222 lol thank you i was trying to figure out where i heard this

  • Alcohol is evil ,Cannabis is not , end of story

  • @Ogmetalhead3 alcohol and cannabis are both good just drink responsibly and get a buzz not pissed drunk.

  • Seriously, the government should legalize it but put a tax on it like they did with alcohol. there! Problem solved!

  • this country has lost its old ways..what ever happen to freedom. if people want to smoke weed then let them ITS THEIR CHOICE..we r not hurting anybody by us doing it

  • Karma Police in the background! :D

  • smoke weed.

  • Weed is not a drug. Its an Herb. Coke and Heroin ARE Drugs. Fight them not weed.

  • No coke is a drink but heroin is a drug and weed IS a drug but not very harmfull

  • @triplehfan13071 Wanna get realllyyyy technical? Every thing can be categorized as being a drug.

  • @triplehfan13071 Oh, one more thing, I speed ball German Chocolate Cake and HoHos before school. It takes the edge off of things.

  • @CallOfDuty4Fish Are you stupid? Just because it's a herb doesn't mean it's not a drug.

  • @CallOfDuty4Fish

People who make statements like you, and people that blindly enough "likes" it... only damage the cause.

  • @CallOfDuty4Fish You're an idiot. The definition of drug is "A drug, broadly speaking, is any substance that, when absorbed into the body of a living organism, alters normal bodily function." Thus that means that coffee, cannabis and many many other things. I'm a legalizer but it pisses me off how stupid people are on both sides. "It's a herb not a drug"

  • @CallOfDuty4Fish Coke and Heroin come from plants too.

  • @theyayster Cocaine yes, it is extracted, and concentrated into a salt. Naturally occurring compound, but much different than just chewing up coco leaves. Heroin is a synthetic compound not found in plants. It is basically diacetylated morphine. Morphine is found naturally occurring in poppies, but must be converted to heroin(morphine diacetate). So no, heroin doesnt come from plants. Its made in a lab, from compounds that are natural. Like most synthetic drugs.

  • @CallOfDuty4Fish

People like you give this drug a bad name.

  • @CallOfDuty4Fish Drug: any article, other than food, intended to affect the structure or any function of the body of humans or other animals.

Marijuana is a drug, but that doesn't make it bad in any way

  • @shutupyouflip Marijuana is also a food source rich in omega fatty acids.

  • @CallOfDuty4Fish You need to go look up the definition of drug. Coke and heroin are "hard" drugs,

  • @CallOfDuty4Fish I smoke marijuana and yes it is a drug it pisses me off when people say its not a drug is a substance that alters the state of mind you fucking idiot its just that because of the media the word drug is looked down on even though everyone does drugs advil, caffeine two great example

  • @CallOfDuty4Fish anything that stimulates your mood and/or brain function is a drug. food and water are considered drugs as well. especially chocolate and wheat. so i guess we should make those illegal too.

  • @CallOfDuty4Fish weed is a drug. do you even know what a drug is defined by? just because its a plant doesnt mean its not a drug.

  • Comment removed

  • @nickasaurus11 the fact remains that canibus has never hurt anyone and making it illegal was a mistake and probition of it has done more harm then helped our conmunities in anyway. the war on drug that nixion desinged was to destroy the far left. he saw the hippies protesting the war, hippies smoked pot so he bi-past their first admentment rights to shut them up by busting them with the dryed bud of a plant that is native to every continat the world other then antartica.

  • @CallOfDuty4Fish

funny how weed is a schedule one "drug" and coke and heroin are not

  • then why cant we kill all of the peop;e using drugs,

i think this idea would work alot better then jailing them because it would bring a scare in them

  • @glitchhunter96 why not fight poverty or illiteracy?

  • @glitchhunter96 because if you did you would kill 50% of the population then china would come over and kick our ass aswell then takeover

  • @scarymangrim yes but if we ha 9000 atomic bombs that would work

  • @glitchhunter96 man it's china they probaly have these seceret mechs that eat atomic bombs for breakfest

besides do you know how big china's population is those 9000 atomic bombs would probaly only kill like a quater of their population

  • @scarymangrim yeah but it might start another iceage

  • @glitchhunter96 it'd blow the planet into a fucking astroid belt

  • the war on drugs is counter protustive becus pepel are buying pot from drug delers how lacest with hard drugs

  • Give me the 20 billion dollars, that will buy me a lot of crack and heroin

    I love drugs

  • I don't smoke weed but I can realize that the war on drugs should not target cannabis.

All weed does is make people goddamn lazy. People do not murder others on weed nor do they drive dangerously. More serious drugs like meth, coke, and heroin are what should be targeted.

  • IDC WAT NOBODY SAY I SMOKE WEED EVERYDAY AN I WILL KEEP DOING IT TILL I DIE! I WORK HARD I GOT MY OWN HOUSE AN CAR SO CANT NOBODY TELL ME STOP SMOKING! I CANT EVEN COUNT THE NUMBER OF TIMES I WANTED TO DO SUMTHING BAD AN I SMOKE AN SAY FUCK IT IM NOT WORRY BOUT IT NO MORE!

  • free country? where?! I dont see it!

  • @samuriguy909 aint shit over here free

  • If you think about it the war on drugs isn't that different from prohibition. Both made a substance or substances illegal for personal use. Both have the same problems increased crime, high cost of enforcing the law, corruption, and really enforceability. So basically legalize it.

  • The folly of the War of Choice on Drugs can be summed up this way:

Heath Ledger, Brittany Murphy and Michael Jackson all died from drugs that were and are perfectly legal.

Robert Downey Jr. took the illegal stuff. He is not only still alive, he's an a-list movie star whose career has never been brighter.

Any questions? Well, maybe one. Why does the Gestapo (aka the DEA) call them "controlled substances" when they have zero control over them?

  • if marijuana was legal people wouldnt go to drug dealers to buy it and wouldnt get introduced to other drugs that are addicting and way worse than marijuana

  • we live in a capitalistic country and this "war on drugs" is just the justice system, and prison systems wanting a piece of the pie...for those who dont know what i meant by "pie" i meant money.

  • Instead of getting high just go masturbate (do it privatley tho)

    no1 gets hurt

  • Let's say your favorite drugs become legal... my question is, why do drugs? Get high off sports, off doing something that doesn't fack up with your body chemistry.

  • @gtenshi recent scientific discoveries have indicated that cannabinoids are, in fact, neuroprotective, particularly against alcohol-induced brain damage. In a recent preclinical study -- the irony of which is obvious to anyone who reads it -- researchers at the US National Institutes of Mental Health (NIMH) reported that the administration of the non-psychoactive cannabinoid cannabidiol (CBD) reduced ethanol-induced cell death in the brain by up to 60 percent. do some research on cannabinoids

  • @krypekeeper interesting. Thanks for the info. But I read (cant remember where) that most people at rehab clinics are there because of marijuana. Regarding marijuana the argument can go either way if we bring up research on it. But I just don't know much about it. My opinion is that there are other ways to stimulate the mind without having to pay for a drug that may finance kidnappings, crime, etc. (not just talking about cannabis)

  • @gtenshi you just proved why it should be legal, BECAUSE of prohibition you get people getting killed and kidnapped over weed.BTW only 3% of people in rehab for weed are there voluntarily, the other 97% are given the choice of jail or treatment center, then the DEA gets to say "look at all these kids in treatment"

i like to smoke a good sativa and go hike, swim, walk my dog, used to smoke before doin tkd and kickboxing.. and Indica at night to help me sleep.

  • @krypekeeper I didn't prove that it should be legal because people finance crime through drug consumption. Stopping the use of weed and other drugs produced by drug trafficking organizations will most likely stop crime. I said that it's better to do other stuff, like the things you mentioned (I mean more into exercise) that naturally produce a state of well being than to use drugs to achieve the same end.

  • @gtenshi have you ever smoked? when i did rock climbing and scuba diving i used to get a adrenaline rush, but thats compared more to doin coke or somethin else . marijuana relaxes you. smoke a bowl of some sativa before you workout or w/e you will be able to go further and last longer. it relaxes your muscles to a point beyond what u can do with just warming up

  • @krypekeeper I see. No, I have never smoked. It just doesn't attract me. I guess I feel relaxed in other ways, like taking a vacation or just playing video games. Well, to each his own.

  • @gtenshi should try it sometime . you prob never will though cause its been drilled into your head your whole life how bad it is. Let me tell you EVERYTHING. and i do mean EVERYTHING from it being addictive to it causing cancer and emphysema THEY'RE ALL LIES. Marijuana is non addictive doesnt cause emphysema and has been PROVEN to kill cancer do some research on in, watch " The Union: business behind getting high." Its a very well done, informative movie on the subject.

  • @krypekeeper Stop watching propaganda movies and do some actual research. Weed has been proven to cause cancer, among other things. It's also been proven to cause mental addiction. Fucking idiot...

  • @lt53666 The smoking of marijuana causes cancer, not the marijuana itself. Smoking it is not the only way to have marijuana put into your body. How about you do your fucking research you fucking idiot.

  • @Thadigitalkid No shit, you little cunt. When I said "Weed has been proven to cause cancer...", I obviously meant that smoking it causes cancer. That's how marijuana is generally consumed. Do I have to clarify every little detail for you?

  • @lt53666 Indeed you do, if you are going to refer to research you need to be exact, otherwise you are leading yourself into fallacy.

  • @Thadigitalkid lol, no I don't. It's absolutely clear to everyone. I guess you're a pothead, since you're so stupid.

  • @Thadigitalkid @lt53666 Cannabis cannot and give someone cancer unless mixed with other substances such as tobacco. Cannabis has anti-tumorous properties which have been used time over time to cure cancer. Google "Rick Simpson" or read about Cash Hyde, the 2 year old with terminal brain cancer which was cured by cannabis oil. Educate yourselves.

  • Jimmy, shut the Fuck up I hope you're joking. Like are you fucking retarded or did you make all that shit up

  • @xboxbenny he's retarded

  • is the song in the background karma police?

  • 51 people need to PLAY IT FASTER!!!!

    (reefer madness =] )

  • I loved when Bush came out and said, "We are losing the war against drugs." You know what that implies? There's a war being fought, and the people on drugs are winning it. ~ Bill Hicks

  • WHY CANT WE ALL JUST GET A BONG??? legalize it already, sheesh

  • BUT GUYYYYYSSSSSSS ITS A GAAATEEEEWAY DRUG!!!!!

    GATES ARE SCARY :'(

  • The war on drugs has nothing to do with keeping us safe from drugs and the government knows this. It is a scam. The government makes money from it. When you buy from a dealer, that dealer gets the drug from another dealer higher up the chain. And that dealer gets is from another dealer higher up the chain. And so on and so on. Who do you think is at the top of that chain?? The CIA and the DEA of course.

  • @AresCassell so dumb, so dumb, so so so dumb.

  • @AresCassell

no. just a guy growing hemp plants. you're a fag.

  • @dizafatslag How does proposing a plausible theory make one a homosexual?

  • @AresCassell

    cool comeback, bro.

  • @dizafatslag Thanks. You are cool too.

  • @AresCassell

    oh k

  • @AresCassell not exactly.... but nice try

  • @haaaaaaaaaand I think it is true. That's why smalltime dealers often get arrested but the kingpins seldom do. Why is it so hard for people to think of the war on drugs as a major pyramid scam?

  • theres no way you can stop drugs form being used you can only lower it unless you want to kill every single body that does it

  • pot shouldn't be illegal. i'm not saying that it has to be regulated or commercially sold, but i don't think people should get in trouble for it. there are so many more dangerous things out there (alcohol, coffee, tobacco, FACEBOOK, all prescription drugs), and for whatever reason, they are legal and accepted as "normal." people should be free to smoke, or not smoke pot without consequences. might as well make something like meditation illegal. or bananas.

  • US supported Afghan President Hamid Karzai is the biggest drug dealer and Marijuana is cultivated on more than 80 % crop fields in afghanistan. Nato and US soldiers are getting addicted to many kinds of drugs in Afghanistan , that's why Talibans are getting stronger and US is looking for a safe pessage to pull its troups out of afghanistan

  • @TheFugitive1000 there not looking to pull the troops out, what r u talking about.there taking over the world are threatened by no one not even its own citizens.they aint leavin shit.

  • the music in the back is karma police by radiohead........

  • i know the dude personally what a legond

  • i hope the american government implodes on its own shitty religion-based law system

  • Thumbs up if you counted 108 seconds

  • the war on weed wont be going anywhere as long as the pharmaceutical companies err i mean congress is still in power

    -Ron Paul 2012-

  • Yes drugs are bad. Pot is fine in moderation. Crack and everything else is pretty bad. The goverment will never stop drugs theres just too much money involed it.

  • @elvenmage271 Weed is actually absolutely harmless if vaporized or consumed orally. The only damage caused by smoking weed is by inhaling combusted plant matter. Also, one can smoke as much weed as they'd like and never overdose. It is literally impossible to overdose on any of the active cannabinoids in cannabis. Alcohol, by comparison, does exponentially more damage as the amount consumed increases, and comes with tons of calories, liver damage, and irritation of the gastrointestinal tract.

  • pretty good video

    thanks for the upload

  • YOU DO KNOW WHEN WEED WAS LEGAL NOT MANY PEOPLE SMOKED IT And not many people had even heard of it before it became illegal is wasnt a problem but making it illegal became a problem it turned weed into gold making it a magnet to people to sell to make them rich our goverments made it like this if drugs didnt become illegal and in the news/papers all the time we wouldnt have this big problem!

  • kids say its easier to get weed then to get alcohol...mabe if they legalized it would be harder for kids to get it.i mean cmon let smoke shops sell marijauna any1 else found growing it will have to get a *fix it ticket* the cop will be like..*cop* if you dont buy a marijauna growing lisence then you will be tooken to court and fined.easy right there seems like a reasonable law for being found growing
