@Pracerdohczx2 but a supercharger pulls boost from 1000 rpm all the way to 7000 a turbo dosnt usually start getting boost untill 3000-3500 a supercharger is ideal for light to light runs but shit on a long go compaired to a turbo

@1016joecool thats why its always best to rev to reach a desire rpm range to get the max power on a launch. Turbochargers are more power efficient then superchargers, and runs cooler without sacrificing the engine's true potential. For example, look at the 03/04 Cobras. They come stock with supercharger, i dont know whats the stock Psi range, but if you swapped out the supercharger for a turbo system at the same psi range, you would see a tremendous difference in power increase.

@Pracerdohczx2 i don't know where you get your facts from but i would definately say a supercharger on a sho would run cooler then a turbo set up. superchargers can deal with heat soak but more typical in a positive displacement supercharger not the centrifugal ones sho owners use. and as far as changing a super to a turbo at the same psi the turbo might be slightly faster but tremendous difference i think not. the tremendous difference you think of you can get more boost from a turbo setup

@QUIETBOY267 "either one but da supercharger sounds meaner than a turbo" i could be wrong but i don't think anyone has ever put a positive displacement supercharger on a sho there is just not much room inside the engine bay. the sound you speak of will not be heard from the centrifugal super, its sounds just like a turbo.

Hahah, you are a fucking tool! Ford Edge runs 16.2-16.4 sec on 1/4th mile and 0-60 in around low 8 sec where manual SHO in around 6.7-6.8sec and low 15sec at 1/4 mile. Why don't you suck a dick and STFU before pulling bullshit out of your ass.

ive got a 95 SHO aka "the red rocket".

its got the 3.2 in it but i put a supercharger on it and its making 17 pounds of boost and running 12.8.

and its my everyday driver.

i just need a tune up BAD!!! i got a miss on cylinder 5 and it bogs and sputters like crazy.

but over all its the best 100 buks ive ever spent.

and yes i really did pay 100 buks for a running 95 SHO and no its not a POS its only got 1 rust spot the size od a nickle on the crease of the hood.
