  • Great motivation for me :) I trying to lose the truck tyre haha..

  • @HaroldChong1981 - there are many of us that suffer with the same problem. Just stick to it and eat right. Baz

  • can you do these exercises without dumbells? i go gyms often, around 2~3 times per week

but my focus is on shoulders, biceps, triceps and chest

so my question is does this workout require dumbbells to see effects? or without it, its easier to achieve with crutches and sit ups? i really wana build stomach muscle

  • @ShawnMicheaIs - I do not think you will get the same intensity without weights. Doing crunches and situps is also a great way to train the abs. It really is up to you and what you believe will work best for you. Baz

  • you're the man, baz. thanks for all your videos

  • @superman1113215 - pleasure my friend and thanks for the comment. Baz

  • Hey baz, I have a few questions. should i work on biceps/ triceps and shoulders on the same day and how often should i work those muscles out for? i usually do it every other day

  • @daGreatestCreation - yes you can train those muscles together. I like chest, triceps and biceps on the same day but it is up to you. You need to make sure you only train them 2 times a week. They need rest to repair and grow. I train them on Mon and Thurs every week. Baz

  • Yo baz. It's me again. I wonder why my abs shape unbalance? Right hand side look smaller than the left ones.

  • @iamprince456 - we are all a bit smaller one side than the other. You should not really notice it but it could be your abs are offset and do not line up that is why they look smaller one side. That is genetic and not a lot you can do about it. Mine are off set and do not line up. Baz

  • Yo man im 20 years old and your vids have really helped me get started I looked thru all your vids and there a great help thanks!

Anyways thanks for these good vids :) I look forward to more.

  • @ndgh209 - I am really pleased that the videos are helping you. If you need more help just give me a shout and thanks for the comment. Baz

  • Hello Baz. I am now 16 and personally think I am not that fit. I would like to start training to become a Marine after high school. I was wondering what I should do?

  • @DeathKnight1995 - I will send you a training plan that will help you gain fitness and strength so you should make it with ease. Baz

  • Hello Baz. Im 16 year old...Can i do this without taking dumbbell?

  • @iamprince456 - yes i suppose you can but the reason for using a weight of some sort is to put extra stress on the abs. I am not sure how good it would be without any weight. That does not mean it will not work. Try and see. Baz

  • hey baz! i am also a 15 year old teen .. i started working out about a few months ago .. just wondering what is the ideal type of training exercise for a person my age??

  • @asyraf140796 - I will be happy to send you some info to get you going for now. Baz

  • @BazBlog Hi... im also 15 years old and just started to train.. im also interested about what is the ideal type of training exercise for a person my age? can you send me some info too? thanks

  • @nw0n - I do not think I saw your comment but will send you some info. Baz

  • @nw0n - you have contact lock on so i cannot send you anything. Baz

  • @BazBlog sorry.... you should be able to send messages now

  • Hi Baz! I am 15 year old kid and i stated working out week ago. I am interested in if is that possible to get nice abs and body (i got little bit fat on my stomach) with 5 months? I am sking every day and sometimes i do sking twice a day. I allso do some exercises after sking. I hope u can answer to me soon.

  • @MrParuNn - yes you can get a great looking body. You are a bit young to go full out with weights. I will send you some info to help you with the best kind of training for your age. Baz

  • GYM!!

  • @TWOBEATSDK - I take it you are going to Gym now. lol if so I hope it went really well for you. Baz

  • Going to the fitness now!!!! KTHXBAI!

  • Great advice Baz, as they say, you can't out run a bad diet.

  • @gragrn - that is a very good comment. Thanks. Baz

  • I really want to start training more.. I want to be able to see myself in the mirror in half a year, and see some killer abs and biceps.. But because of me having a injury in my plexus system (shoulder) I can't really work out as good as this.. I can just do normal sit-ups, and one-armed-push ups.. That really sucks.. But i enjoyed this video, and i want to start working out more, as soon as i can find a good plan for me :) Thanks for uploading this vid :) Cheers, Norway

  • @DekThai359 - can you do any sort of training with both arms and shoulders even if it is very very light? Baz

  • @BazBlog nice of you to reply :) i can barerly raise my right arm halfway, so its extremly hard :( but listen to you talking inspired me to get in contact with a gym, and my physiotherapist also gave me the opportunity to trin there, so i only need a schedule :) thanks man!

  • @DekThai359 - the fact that you have movement means that in time that will increase. I will send you a plan that I use and just adapt it to suit what you can do. Baz

  • @BazBlog wow thanks! im subbing because you really show that you care about the viewers :)

  • @DekThai359 - that is very kind of you to say. Thanks for the sub. Baz

  • @DekThai359 Yeah! Norway FTW !! :)

  • i think your dog wanted to join in lol

  • @MrTwentyfourseven - he does quite regular on the treadmill. Baz

  • hey, can you do chest exercise without any bench

  • @Knight7868 - yes you can but you will not get the full movement which is better however if you do not have equipment then something is far better than nothing. Baz

  • couldnt have said this any better

  • @DanDan2161994 - thanks so much my friend. Baz

  • Baz, you're cool!

  • @Chhaylin - that is really nice of you to say. Baz

  • Can you use a bench weight bar to do this exercise? P.S Your vidz are really good.

  • @Stevie0Lad - yes that is how a lot of people do them. Baz

  • @Stevie0Lad - forgot to say thanks in my haste. Baz

  • You're vids are amazing man, mind if i ask if you think weight training at 15 is too young? I am starting to see good results, but im just wondering if it'll do any harm in the long run?

  • @gangstatrippin999 - thanks so much. You are a bit young so i would stick to quite light weights for another year and then go for it. Some people are lucky and their bones have hardened enough by 15 but it is hard to tell. Baz

  • @gangstatrippin999 it wont aslong as you use good form. I started when I was 13.

  • sir im ur biggest fan it the whole world...u know the reason..u tell exact technique....no cheating..just exact and true way to do exercise...u have lovely puppy by the way...:)

  • @TheErslan - that is a wonderful compliment. Thanks so much for supporting me. yes the dog is cute. Baz

  • My lower back hurts abit when my legs go pass 90 degrees. Is this normal?

  • @MrZenic - no that is not normal. I would have that checked out. I would also not lift the legs past the 90 degrees then. Baz

  • Best advise! And like always great work friend! :)

  • @Theaikro - thanks so much for the compliment. Baz

  • Actually this seems really good, does this exercise work the lower abs Baz?

  • @MostBl0ody1 - I have found that putting your feet on a bench and doing crunches works the lower abs. Doing squats as a great effect on lower abs. Doing this exercise helps too. The key is to lose body fat and you will finally see the lower abs. Some people never get to see them. Baz

  • @BazBlog Thanks Baz, i'll do my best!

  • @MostBl0ody1 - good luck. Baz

  • Btw, nice little dog :P

  • @JustChanc3 - thanks. Baz

  • Something I need to work on majorly is getting tight abdominals, like toned defined ones. Any tips? Is it mainly just cardio and if so what cardio would I focus on?

  • @JustChanc3 - you must do some exercise but the key to great abs is the amount of fat you have on your body. Fat hides abs and other muscles. There is a fat burn video that will help a lot for your fat burn. Baz

  • Hey baz, I need a professional advice.... I'm turning 20 on January next year I'm 5'6'' 90lbs(40kg) =( i'm not anorexic or something I just don't gain weight even though I eat a lot as in a lot and i do take my vitamins. I don't get sick easily maybe that's the good thing, so enough with the talk. I want to build my body (My gift for myself on January) should i need to gain more weight to train or can i take it now with my body specs if so what training should i do? Thanks in Advanc - EnzoMan

  • @EnzoMan2012 - I will send you some info to help you with your training. You say you are eating a lot but you must understand that if you put in more than you use you will gain. That is just a fact of life. You are obviously burning as much as you are putting in even though you think you are eating a lot. I hope what I send will help you to gain a lot of muscle and good health. Baz

  • good video

  • @yungprodigy7 - thanks very much. Baz

  • baz, whats your opinion of supplements ?

  • @daveyp26 - I think they are good. But not to overdo it. I have creatine, protein powder, and some good vitamin tablets along with omega 3 and glucoseamine tablets. Baz

  • @BazBlog thanks baz.

  • @daveyp26 - np. Baz

  • Thanks! I will try that. But i dont remember asking this before :O. If i did, sorry. Have a nice day

  • @Kypaav - good luck with it. Baz

  • Hi, Baz. When i do almost any ab excersize i feel a pain in my tailbone. It hurts when i put pressure on it and it gets pressed to the floor. Any suggestions?

  • @Kypaav - You have asked this on one of the other videos. I suggest you use a pillow under your butt. I would do these leg raises and some crunches as they do not mess with the coccyx bone. Baz

  • Hi, I've seen a similar abs exercise to this from the "300 workout" where weights are held up in the air whilst moving the legs to work the abs. So out of interest, in terms of working the abs, what does the holiding the weights in the air do to help train/put more intensity on the abs than any other abs exercise where you wouldnt hold weights up?

  • @liquidbadger06 - yes it is the 300 abs workout. It puts a lot of extra strain on the abs. The further back you hold the weights the more strain. You can get similar with sit ups if you held a plate on your chest or if you did crunches with a plate on your chest. It is about getting the abs to really work hard as they are quite tough to train and very important for overall strength and fitness. Baz

  • Always watch your videos before heading to the gym. Thanks!

  • @Razorsharp445 - that is really good to hear. I hope they help you will your training. Baz

  • Nice vids but, you should work more on ur delts. (just a tip)

  • @Smiterecords - Thanks but at 60 I am really happy with how I look for the time being. Baz

  • awwesome video dude i can start practising this exercise 2 im 16

  • @Alwg1995 - thanks very much and yes you can as you are a good age to start. Baz

  • Cool dog bro

  • @MrDutchgangster - thanks. Baz

  • really like your videos, dude...great tipps to work out. I have to admit I just started today, but I think there couldn't be a better way to start^^ thanks a lot, and keep this winning smile at the end, very charismatic! oO

  • @masterspeed94 - thanks so much for the great compliments and good luck with your training. Baz

  • @masterspeed94 i couldn't agree more! and the smile; is very worming and postivie, it makes me smile to, lol! keep it up!

  • good exercise

  • @anykain - Thanks very much. Baz

  • Hey dude im really impressed in this video, please respond this to me im 14 turning 15 this year lots of the girls in my school like boys with 6 pack, i really want one ive currently do 40 sits up in the monring and 40 sit ups in the afternoon, im about 165 cm tall and 48 kg when do you think i will get my 6 pack ??

  • @gregoireX1150 - that is a lot of sit ups and should help you to get a 6 pack. It is more about how you eat to get a six pack. I would not worry too much at 14. It is very hard to build at that age. Your body is changing all the time. Make sure you eat really well and keep up the sit ups and crunches and you will get some abs. Baz

  • @gregoireX1150 hey man you should really be careful when you do sit-ups you can seriously (long-term consequences) hurt your spine, i don't wanna sound like some internet smart ass but you might wanna consider doing something else

  • look at the dog

  • baz got abz..good luck man

  • @Moeggggggggggggggggg - thanks for the comment. Baz

  • i heard that abs workout wont build your abs, cardio will, what u think?

  • @RockClimbingChannel - I think that is correct. You do have to do abs training so the muscles will be there but to see them you have to lose body fat. Baz

  • nice dog

  • @windsurfingdog - Thanks. Baz

  • @BazBlog the dog is CUTE> OMG

  • @kiyokeo :-)

  • i can feel them burning by seeing you doing that. Respect to you

  • @zizatzu - yes it is quite an intense training. Baz

  • ur kool dude,respect

  • @bbbbbbabbababbababab - thanks so very much. Baz

  • There are many people on youtube who give tips to train your body, but none as great as you do it.

You seem like a friendly man, with a great insperational voice to give tips to fellow internet users.

    Thank you for that!

  • @Maxmus050 - that is a really wonderful compliment. Thanks so much for your support. Baz

  • haha lovin the dog XD

i do the leg raises so my legs are off the bench and its slightly harder is that ok?

  • @ironmaidenguitar - yes if you are getting a good workout doing abs then what you are doing is right. Baz

  • @ironmaidenguitar yes its normal. once your abs get stronger that pain will dissappear. but dont stop. go for that abs

  • how many reps, and should i do it every day?

  • @stianerkul1996 - I normally do 5/6 sets of 12-15 reps per set. I think 2/3 times a week is more than enough. Some say more. The key is to eat right. Baz

  • @BazBlog seriously you must use bruce lee's diet. its so prefect. if you do it right, you will get so good results, its really worth doing.

  • @KatsumotoYamada - I am sure it is a good diet but I am really happy with my results and the way I do it. Baz

  • @BazBlog Do you think getting abs is dangerous for your inner organs in your stomach part?

  • @KatsumotoYamada - no not at all. I think it is better as the muscles will protect the organs. If you have a strong midsection you will be strong. Baz

  • @BazBlog hm ok i will try. then look at the results

  • @KatsumotoYamada - good luck with your training. Baz

  • 1:19 awww, nice dog you have=)

  • @muhdfirdaus92 - thank you. Baz

  • 10 people without abs and brains clicked dislike. Baz, thank you for your honest and sincere sharing

  • @gabrielkhoo - my friend if just one person likes it then it was worth the effort and me doing the video. Baz

  • @BazBlog I haven't gained any ab muscles yet but I have gained wisdom simply by reading your comments

  • @gabrielkhoo - it does take time. You will have to lose any fat on the abs before you see them. You might even find they are rock hard but not see because of the layer of fat covering them. Just be persistent and make sure that you eat right. Baz

  • @Toops144 - thanks so much that is a wonderful compliment. Baz

  • nice dogy

  • @TheRobb2223 - thank you. Baz

  • Thank you for this and all your other videos - really helped me a lot.

    Greetings form Denmark

  • @BjornSkjaerup - Pleasure and I hope it is going really well in Denmark. Baz

  • Really good guy, i will train by these workouts they seem to have worked well on you :)

  • @raveraidenhtid - thank very much and yes they have worked really well for me. Baz

  • can I use a long bar instead of those pair?

  • @alvaro811994 - yes and in fact the straight bar works very well. Baz

  • KEEP WORKING THERE, DON'T QUIT. I WILL LIVE BY THIS MOTTO :)

  • @Milkysoft987 - thanks and good luck with your training. Baz

  • How many reps and how many times u do this in a week?

  • @punkboyz89 - I do this 2 times a week and I normally do 6 sets of 12 reps. Baz

  • Cute dog you have :D

  • @pokemononparas - thank you. Baz

  • u make me feel good inside :)

  • @ccorProductions - that is a really nice compliment. Thank you. Baz

  • nice guy thank you

  • @xiaren1989 - pleasure and thank you. Baz

  • thank you ;) it helped me, you are such a great guy

  • @millenardo - it is a pleasure and that is a very nice compliment. Baz

  • i enjoyed seeing your doggie running by as you do ab exercises. i think the doggies make us exercise a little harder, they make it funner :)

  • @wwwjohn - I am glad it helps you to train harder. Baz

  • @bazblog thanks for the info it was really helpful one more question. I notice you said I would need to do cardio or aerobics but I'm currently 175lbs trying to reach 185-190. I'm more in the bulking up stage right now, so if I start doing cardio I would be losing kinda like starting over is there another alternative to lose fat but keep my weight?

  • @bigdaddy19821111 - If you want to see your abs you will have to reduce your body fat. You can gain weight but It is not going to be easy. You will have to really be very strict with your food and training. You do not have to do aerobics but that is the easiest way to lose body fat. Good luck with it my friend. Baz

  • @bazblog I saw this abs abstract machine that's suppose to zap your abs and build muscles without doing crunches, do you think that stuff really works? Me personally I'm having a hard time to getting my abs show but my stomach is very tight.

  • @bigdaddy19821111 - I really do not believe in any of those miracle machines or exercises that will give you abs in just 10 minutes or a couple of weeks. They are just money making schemes. You have to lose body fat to have abs. Have a look at the nutrition video to get some ideas. You also have to do some aerobics to burn off the fat and there is a fat burn video you can have a look at too. If you need more help let me know. Baz

  • u dont even have muscles so how are we supposed to learn from you?

  • @1994joris - you are not find another channel. Baz

  • thank you sir help a lot.......

  • @TheBicolano15 - pleasure and good luck with your training. Baz

  • Can this exercise be carry out without the dumbbell?

  • @converse541 - yes but the purpose of the weights is to add extra resistance so you have to work the abs harder. Baz

  • @BazBlog is there anything that can replace dumbbell as i do not have?

  • @converse541 - yes you can use a straight bar or even lose plates so long as you do them safely. Baz

  • legend!

  • @dizzinicol - wow thanks very much for that. Baz

  • @BazBlog no probs man your vids are great!

  • @dizzinicol - thanks very much . Baz

  • Hey Baz, I heard the best way to train abs was about 3 times a week, with a days break in between. Ive just started a new regime 2 weeks ago, and i've been doing abs 5 times a week (mon-fri), and i've been told I'm not giving my abs time to repair. However, I feel like my abs aren't that sore the next day - So why not go again? Should I cut back to 2-3 days a week? Regards, Steve.

  • @SteveShredding - my friend everyone is an expert on abs. lol. Some say you must train them every day. Others say only 2 times a week. The key is lose body fat and you will have abs. Train them they way you feel you are doing the best for them and forget all the experts because nobody can agree and they all work. Baz

  • @BazBlog Cheers for the advice Baz. By the way, your tutorials have been more than helpful. I've incorporated your traps workout into my regime, so much appreciated!

  • @SteveShredding The problem with training abs continuously for 5 days is, if u do the same exercises for all 5 days, one day after the other, u'll feel that the exercises are much easier to do and it'll burn lesser fat. That's because ur abs gets too used to the exercises and that they will refuse to grow.

  • @bioodchao I understand what you mean. What about if I increased the workout every 2 weeks ? Then after a certain amount of time, when I feel my body is getting used to the exercise (ie. becoming too easy), I opt for a different routine?

  • @SteveShredding - you actually burn very little fat doing abs exercises. Fat comes off when you change your diet and add some serious aerobics to your training. Then you can stick to your normal abs training only to get them hard so they show. Baz
