No, if you have health insurance (which a lot of people in the country doesn't have) you have several recourses to treatment. As an American (whose always had the best health insurance in the country) I've never had a problem, nor a bill. Additionally, I have lived in the UK. The NHS is notorious for placing people on a wait list. France's system is the best. We do need legislation about the state of health care, but its not bad here. We have the latest tech, best docs, and researchers.
England and Canada also have the same tech and doctors with the same level of training. I don't think America has a horrible system but it does need improvemnt. In regards to wait time in England I have never waited more then an hour or so for treatment or a week or so for an appointment. I admit I may have got special treatment as my dad is a Doc, but I found the wait times to be good
Actually, I lived in the UK, in Scotland. My friend had horrible pains in his stomach, bad ulcers which required surgery, but since his case wasn't determined a threat to his life he had to wait SIX months for surgery. Another friend waited 4 months to get surgery on his rotor cuff, which was spent in fairly good pain with limited arm movement.

Schools lose money when kids don't come to school because they're paid per student. Because of Fox News public schools will be losing tons of money tomorrow. Some schools won't be showing it. Some schools will record it and go through it with the school board and decide what and if to show. A lot of kids who wanted to see the speech live won't be able to. No, if you have health insurance (which a lot of people in the country doesn't have) you have several recourses to treatment. As an American (whose always had the best health insurance in the country) I've never had a problem, nor a bill. Additionally, I have lived in the UK. The NHS is notorious for placing people on a wait list. France's system is the best. We do need legislation about the state of health care, but its not bad here. We have the latest tech, best docs, and researchers.

In regards to wait time in England I have never waited more then an hour or so for treatment or a week or so for an appointment. I admit I may have got special treatment as my dad is a Doc, but I found the wait times to be good

Actually, I lived in the UK, in Scotland. My friend had horrible pains in his stomach, bad ulcers which required surgery, but since his case wasn't determined a threat to his life he had to wait SIX months for surgery. Another friend waited 4 months to get surgery on his rotor cuff, which was spent in fairly good pain with limited arm movement.

Why shouldn't the leader of the nation, elected to uphold and improve the nation, talk to the people who in less than fifteen years will be making a difference in this nation? If he doesn't do it now (especially in these hard economic times, caused by the Republicans) then when should he do it?

Schools lose money when kids don't come to school because they're paid per student. Because of Fox News public schools will be losing tons of money tomorrow. Some schools won't be showing it. Some schools will record it and go through it with the school board and decide what and if to show. A lot of kids who wanted to see the speech live won't be able to. Their rights are being infringed on because other kids' parents are fascists.
