Apathy and Celph are one of, if not THE best, rap duo(s) of all time. Celph's got that all natural classic punch line flow and Ap's got the opposite, an all natural classic story telling rhymes inside of rhymes on top of rhymes flow. But they can also both flip it and rap any style you want. And they play off each other better than anybody.
@JasonBrodie - I couldn't have said it better.. I often mind myself trying to decide which one I like better but they're both sick in their own way.. Celph punchlines are the most WTF epic I've ever heard.. Every track I've heard Celph on has at least 2 punch lines that make me say "oh my fucking god"

Not too many people I know can tolerate that nasally geek sounding tone Copy raps with. His punchlines usually come up short or they don't make me laugh like Celph's does. I can list 5 Celph punches right now that 5 of the best Copy lines would just pale in comparison to Celph's. Easily. And nobody's fuckin' with Celph's voice.

Sure - Copywrite is a bitch, he's gotten his ass beat and he can't back his rhymes up, his rhymes are still tight. Saying celph is a buggatti and copy is a sonata? lol? You could make a book with copywrite quotables, same with celph, but when you hate on one mc, it's kinda hard to hate on the other when they're basicly on the same level.
AND this is coming from someone who discovered underground hip hop via a CD my boy burnt for me which had tons of Copy and tons of Celph, and me having no prior knowledge or bias of these rappers...and Celph just blew me away. I found myself constantly rewinding, constantly laughing and thoroughly impressed. None of Copy's lines or songs jumped out at me and a lot of times bored me bcuz of the lame voice. Just being honest. Diff strokes for diff folks I suppose. *shrugs*

( more a beat maker i leave producing to the engineers ) So I know what it takes to write a flow, and how to read a beat.. Copy flows hard. nobody's "lacking understanding" of how copywrite scripts his music, its just simply not as impressive as celph titled's overall display. copy's voice is way too weak for me. 2 songs come to mind from celph on the boss hog barbarians album: "celph destruction" & "rev. get right".. both of those tracks destroy anything copywrite has done, including flow, lines intertwined in lyrics, overall much more powerful voice. if someone's gonna brag or talk tough, the voice should be at least believable.
