This worked for me. Had to do it twice, the first time i did it for 15 mins but i had the hair dryer on low heat and it didn't work so i tried again on full heat for 15mins and let it cool for 20mins and it worked!!!!!!
The thing is that you're blowing the dust IN, so eventually its all gonna pile up inside...why not get a vacuum and put it on reverse or open your ps3 and clean it ? good video though
hmm, my problem seems to be different from everyone elses .. my playstation boots up fine and I can run games and everything, but everytime it just shuts down after about 60 seconds, not right away .. but everthing else is the same, red red blinking light and all .. :(

@ThatCruckov its overheating u need to open it and replace the thermal compound that sony used, use artic silver 5
