@MrKingsRow although i didn't grow up in the 1950's i watched it unfold on t.v, via happy days and the cunningham's, the fonz, pottsy, ralph and arnold's drive in restaurant. i sometimes wish i had been born earlier then 1967 but had i been born much later i probably wouldn't have the connection to that wonderful decade when the promise of the american dream was real. this song does remind me of the 50's but it's also a reminder of lost youth knowing that it will slip away...bitter sweet.

The move "Eddie & the Cruisers" was a movie I could relate to because if you go from the release date back to '63 it's almost 18 years so it meant a lot to me that summer of 63. I liked this 80's movie, and would recommend it to anyone who hasn't seen it. Your video covers the movie and its 50's era very well. 5 stars!

Oh...and Mark...I forgot...the 80's...that was my era...I grew up in the late 70's and 80's...brings back a lot of memories...spending time with friends...watching this movie...and the music from then. :)
