For me having a person there explaining it makes it more human and more showing that it is not some occult happening, but a real event that was recorded with equipment humans made. Humans built the equipment and assembled everything so we can watch and learn.
@goog2k very typical of scientists who think they need to go into minute detail to explain fairly simple concepts (yes we know our eyes cant detect light in the infrared part of the spectrum-duh)-maybe he expects this vid to be viewed by a lot of 8-year-olds...
That's weird. I'm working on an animated sci-fi film set in Jupiter space. The short clip you put up in the vid looks very much like clips I'm getting done. I feel much better. I think I'll have to work on the rate of spin of Jupiter, though. That gasbag is FAST!

I love the comment the guy made several times "This is rather cool". Not surprising being in mind the temperatures around Jupiter and Saturn! lol

Are there collisions in space like one moon crashing into another?
Jesse2K12 1 year ago
That picture of Saturn next to the moon was really nice.
Great video.

I'm and evil genius. Legit ! I was harvesting zombies in Haiti before the earthquake, now I got quota.

NO WAY! How can you see Saturn that clearly at 2:07?! Thats amazing!

coincidence? i think not...

I would have just said that was a CGed movie of what the moon would have looked like.

Doesn't the earth have 5 moon total?
falconfira 1 year ago
No... just one. Its a myth about having 2 and we sure as heck don't have five!

@falconfira Not usually no :P

Sorry to be picky, but why does this narrator need to take up half the screen with his mug???
Very obnoxious and vain.

zx1011, well I'll defend him on that one.
The average American still thinks the earth is 6,000 years old, so I doubt they understand the electromagnetic spectrum.
goog2k 1 year ago
I think he's just over explaining it for filler, so we get more exposure to the pictures given.
