  • Very good Country & Western song !

  • David Allen Coe is brutally honest in his music like it or not he is a classic artist

  • I grew up on Hank Jr., David Allen Coe and Merle Haggard now i'm in love with Jamey Johnson's voice it gives me chills ....Welcome to the wonderful world of country music :)

  • david allan coe, george strait, george jones, conway twitty, johnny cash, waylon jennings, willie nelson, alan jackson, hank williams and jr. true country singers

  • This is a great song and video.

  • @ASovietTinCan i cant stand colt ford. they arent country... even when compared the new stuff

  • go david

  • i like this song

  • david allan coe is crazy as fuck

  • The one thing country music has is heart, it never goes out of style, its basic, easy , fun to play and the most selling style of music out of any music genre out of any of them. You dont need big fancy electronic equipment to play, just sit a guitar in your lap and play(if thats the instrument you prefer).Plus , country folks are over and above very humble people.

  • I grew up in Atlanta, GA. I always looked forward to Fridays, when 96 Rock would play this song. It made my week!

  • lov lov lov it!!

  • Beautiful

  • ht tp://w ww. mys pace.co m/ christie nbrothers - play The Journey and the Road.

  • A M A Z E I N G

  • Momma got ran over by a god dang train!!

  • Many thanks to all those who have provided suggestions - im going through each one and listening to clips. Im looking for LP's on eBay and Discogs. Country music sounds amazing on LP...just AMAZING.

    I've favourited this video too.

    Cheers, Jago

  • Great Song ..Fuck Whoever Dnt Like It:))

  • @DIGITALSCREAMS .... Try ....James Burton demonstrates chicken picking here on Youtube.

  • perhaps 9 people are rock music lovers?

  • I like country

  • 9 people don't realize how perfect this country and western song is...

  • @Vizzoid That's because they like the new twangy cookie cutter stuff that is coming out now. Not like Willie, Waylon, Johnny and Merle and don't forget George Jones either.

  • This music is fucking wack yo

  • I live in the UK...32 years old and have just discovered I like the sound of Country Music (is that what its called?). Well....I was wondering if any of you could point me in the right direction as I dont know which artists, albums or singles to look at.

I really LOVE the sound of guitar....bended notes etc. Do you know what I mean?

    Thanks for your help :)

  • @DIGITALSCREAMS well gratz on finnally discovering the bueaty and awsomeness of country, if you really like it listen to some hank williams jr ( A Country Boy Can Survive ) is a timeless classic You will love just post if you want more song suggestions :)

  • @Jewfro69man Wow classic - this is exactly the sort of track I like. Many thanks for your help. I'm looking on eBay for LP's. I'll let you know how I get on!

As a side note, I have satellite TV and was wondering whether there were any shows - award ceremonies for best music etc? Is that a good representation of Country Music...or is it considered to be commercial Pop Country? I heard someone mention pop country and I think it refers to the crap variety?

I love the lyrics in these songs.

  • @DIGITALSCREAMS Try looking up Johnny Cash :)

  • @Jewfro69man then listen to " they call me country" by Jamey Johnson

  • @Jewfro69man I think you mean beauty and awesomeness...

  • @DIGITALSCREAMS check out southern rock bands like Lynyrd Skynyrd and Allman brothers maybe even Charlie daniels band devil went down to GA or for modern country Zac brown band

  • @DIGITALSCREAMS There is Hank Williams Sr., Hank Williams Jr., some of the Hank Williams III, David Allan Coe, Johnny Cash, Hagard, Willie Nelson, some new country (1990's is where it goes down hill but some new stuff is ok)

  • @DIGITALSCREAMS well its outlaw. but yes its REAL country. the shit you hear on the radio hear is POP country. country is the white mans blues. look at the king of country mr HANK WILLIAMS then the prince hank jr then the king of hellbilly outlaw country n metal Hank 3. hope this helps look at willy nelson johnny cash waylon jennings merle haggard dolly parton n a few others. hope this helps. sum poppy type country is ok but for the most part its nasty.

  • @DIGITALSCREAMS Merle Haggard is the man! I am younger as well, but the older artists ( Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings, Patsy Cline, etc.) are my favorites. Jamey Johnson, as a newer artist, is the one I really like. I feel like so many new artists in country music today are to pop, so to speak, and commercialized. I hope this helps. Greetings from across the pond! :) Happy New year!

  • @DIGITALSCREAMS My suggestion to you mate is.... Get drunk on some good whiskey and listen to Hank Williams III! I like the songs "Mississippi Mud" and "6 Pack of Beer" He is a crazy dude and a great musician! True country!

  • @DIGITALSCREAMS Outlaw Country from the late 1970s to the early 1980s is where you want to start. Willie Nelson, Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings, Merle Haggard, and David Allen Coe. "Pop" country is mostly garbage, with a few exceptions.

  • Indeed ha no reason for me to post now. You my friend have covered the basis.

  • @DIGITALSCREAMS you should definetely try listening to some of the classic country like: Haggard, Cash, Jennings, George Straight, Charlie Daniels, Keith Whitley and even Randy Travis, Aaron Tippin just to name a few...but don't be fooled by this new generation that tries to call there music country...it just aint so

  • @DIGITALSCREAMS Any thing Jason Aldean or Luke Bryan and diffidently hank Williams

  • @DIGITALSCREAMS Johnny cash, waylon Jennings, Merle Haggard, charly Pride, Willie Nelson. Thats a good start on classic country.

  • @DIGITALSCREAMS hmmm, you like country and want to know where to look to find the best? You sound like you like the older country(classic country) with the slide guitar. I would suggest Merle Haggard...George Strait

  • @hamblin31 newer artists are miranda lambert and justin moore

  • @DIGITALSCREAMS you could also look up George Jones and Jamey Johnson also Hank Williams Jr.

  • @DIGITALSCREAMS If you like this classic country sound you should start with the people mentioned in the song. Waylon Jennings, Merle Haggard, Charlie Pride, you can add George Jones, Hank Williams Jr. & Willie Nelson. Check out Tompall Glaser too.

  • @DIGITALSCREAMS Buck Owens, Merle Haggard, Hank Williams, Dwight Yoakam Waylong Jennings

  • @DIGITALSCREAMS Guys like waylon jennings, johnny cash, merle haggard, willie nelson, hank sr and jr, kenny rodgers, charlie daniels, david allan coe, alabama others from the great times when country wasnt mainstream. But promise me not to hear all the mainstream pop crap like taylor swift and rascal (fags) flatts ;)

  • @DIGITALSCREAMS try Willie Nelson, Johnny Cash, and Waylong Jennings. You can't go wrong with those boys!

  • @MsBeth1962 oops, Waylon Jennings! (sorry about that)

  • @DIGITALSCREAMS Chris Ledoux, and George Strait for sure!

  • @DIGITALSCREAMS try some texas country -- hank 3 - or steve earle

  • @popomp1

  • @DIGITALSCREAMS Hank Williams SR.

  • @DIGITALSCREAMS LOOK UP david allen coe not these new peices of shit that call themselves old skool singers look up country songs from the 90s 80s n before

  • @DIGITALSCREAMS Willie Nelson. Merle Haggard. Kris Kirstofferson (sp) Walyon Jennings. Hank III, Hank Jr. Start there.

  • @poetrytransition420 Rebel Son if you like them outlaws

  • @DIGITALSCREAMS Johnny Cash for sure :)

  • country is weak as hell
