Fantastic!!! I took the bus out of Limbo Land, and since then, life is beautiful! Nature also doesn't use the word "trying". A seed doesn't "try" to be a tree or a flower, it does it!! When the conditions are met, it springs into action! Aurora, continue to inspire!!
Great topic. It's taken me a long time to remove "aspiring" from my description of myself. I know I still have a long way to go before I get to where I want to be, but dammit, I am an actor now! I am a writer now! It's happening now, and I am it now. I certainly aspire to do more and to do better, but I am doing what I want to be doing.
@lifedoesntimitate000 And you are also now where you wished you could be at some point too....it's easy to forget that part of it too ( at least for me sometimes). Thanks for your thoughts and 'you are a brilliant writer/ actor". :)A
I completely agree with u. I think looking at actors like Spencer Tracy really demonstrate the lesson you are giving people in this video. If you look at him, and his acting abilities in the movies he was in, he made it look completely effortless. As if he WAS the person he was portraying. And that, to me, is the only way to be a believable actor. You need to actually BECOME the character you are pretending to be, both mentally and physically. Theres no thinking involved. Just know the lines. ;)
@OkieMerrod83 Yes, Yes:) We like to get heady about things and that is completely appropriate in the learning stages, but then one learns to let go and let be and that is where the magic lies:) Thanks for your thoughts:) -A
