this is good for getting that specific onyx medal but no point in doing it since you need to play horde to get all the other ones like get $5 million so it's one of those "you'll eventually get it if you play the game enough"

you do it good but you can do better;) you need 2 players for that get you friend and you at a command post after the game starts let you friend give you 1000 cash buy a turret let your friend shoot and repair it al the way till the times up the difference between his method and mine is that you don't have to play the round first

Easiest way to do this if you don't have someone to play online with just start up a local horde game on casual with a guest and make your guest give you all his money then quickly build a command post buy the turret have the guest constantly shoot and just keep pressing Y and restart horde and do it again so you never have to kill any locust/lambents thumbs up so people can see.

It works in split screen. U can even do it on the first wave. Put map on check out. U will want to set up by the checkout counters on the left side. Give the money to who ever wants the medal first then fortify base get turret then do what u saw in the video.

@zabberen The 2 that you see are medals that don't go prestige, I'm pretty sure there the ones for doing horde/beast mode. All other medals will put a number at the bottom, and it keeps going. I have field engineer 3 and it still goes up and has a xp bar at the bottom.
