@naker115 It was pretty obvious. You align any set of pairs, and using standard insertion methods, insert them before re-aligning the centers - filling the top and bottom "banks" with solved edges, once done the final four are placed nicely around the center axis - making them easy to spot and pair.
this technique is very similar to robm's 5x5 advanced edge pairing method if you have a look at it. he just does the last 4 edges all at once (skipped one of them since it was already paired)
Wait, is this like frank morris edges with a 4x4? I suck at 4x4 and can't really keep up haha. It doesnt really look like 2 pair as he never relaces centres properly.
I see, when he ran room to put solved edge pairs on the top, he just placed the last edge piece to where it would re-solve the centers when it lined up with its corresponding edge piece.
I only got it after a lot of thought and rewatching lol. i think it took me about 4~5 watches.
Oh, if anyone can answer my question. The first 4 pairs... did he intentionally put them at the bottom as he paired them one by one? or did he just put them all there after all the 4 were paired?
This is how I solve edges on the 5x5x5 and above. Didn't think it was effective enough for 4x4x4 tho.

What if you have only 2 edge pairings incorrect? I"m doing the beginners method, and i've looked at ever parity video but i can't find the alg X(
IMxAxGINGER 1 year ago
@IMxAxGINGER Setup: Place the two edges on the F face, both oriented the same (both pairs facing you are the same), across from each other.

This has been bothering me for a while.

Oh, i just noticed he put them all on top first, then turned the cube upside down.
So, did he intentionally put the 4 paired edges on top as he paired them one by one? or did he just put all of them there after the pairing?
ToiletDuck88 2 years ago
he put them all on the top then fliped it over.
when you do that you dont have to look in the d layer for edge pairs just
1andonlyeva 2 years ago
oh yeah, thanks.
I was thinking if you could put them on top WHILE pairing, so that you don't have to put them on top AFTER pairing.

nortikkafani1 2 years ago
Not that's not.
He just uses a cmpletely diferent color scheme.
ganseki22 2 years ago 2
i know the color scheme is different, but still that is an eastsheen cube
nortikkafani1 2 years ago
I KNOW the color scheme IS different!!!
but the cube IS eastsheen!! the color scheme is different because the cube is made in JAPAN!! there they use DIFFERENT color scheme!
nortikkafani1 2 years ago
Yes, the colors are different because it's the japanese scheme.
But originally, you said that it being an eastsheen was the reason, now you changed to the correct.
He never said it wasn't an eastsheen, he meant that being an eastsheen wasn't the reason.
