Fabulous workmanship. You've even made it with a striking mechanism. How long does the clock run for on one winding and is there perpetual calendar work there or not? My 'good' clock repairer and maker of clocks has also made a timepiece clock with Brocot escapement and note your comment about it. I like this escapement too - very elegant and of course can be found on visible escapement French clocks which I have a 3 couple of - all with perpetual calendar work.
The clock has to be would every 24 hours. It was originally designed to run longer, but the number of wheels etc added up to too much weight being needed.
You need to stop the clock each leap year day for it to remain accurate.
You have to go to Clayton Boyers site to buy the plans. As this is an expert level clock. You have to have made one of Claytons other plans before he lets you loose on this design. The address for this website is in the top right hand corner of this webpage.
Adrian...it's awesome. Beautiful. Brav-o! From Lisa, whose husband is just tickled after viewing this. He's strutting around the garage and giggling like a girl...

Seriously though, this is an awesome work of design and craftsmanship. I'm impressed.
