Sono una studentessa di storia in America. Faccio della ricerca della Venezia Giulia. Vorrei tanto intervistare persone che sono: Goriziani, Triestini, Fiumani, Quarnerini, Zaratini, e tutta la gente delle isole dalmate della costiera Adriatica orientale che sono diventati profughi. I miei nonni erano fiumani anche ma sono morti ora faccio il mio graduate work sul Fiume e ho interesse di parlare con i fiumani che sono rimasti. Grazie Giulia per questo bel slide show. Ottima scelta della musica. Se non è cantata in dialetto fiumano non importa. E' vero che è difficile trovare le canzoni in dialetto fiumano (ormai in via di estinzione). Io ho vissuto a Rijeka. Ne so qualcosa.

Venecijanci je nikad nisu uspjeli ukrasti kao sto su to radili s nasom dragom Dalmacijom koju su toliko iskoristavali

Talijani su Rijeku ukrali tek prije sto godina, a bila je HRVATSKA vec tisucu godina prije njih

Austrijanci su toliko dobrog napravili u Rijeci i nikad je nisu trazili sebi kao sto to radi ova talijanska gamad

Italians settled down in Rijeka when the city became economically strong with its port and it was close for Italians to move there

Russians are the majority in a whole region in Moldova and they demand independancy

but Russians settled in high numbers for economical reasons, so it's not right

some French cities will have soon a Muslim majority

that's a demographical conquest

however Istria is historically Italian

Una bandiera italiana con scritte irredentiste è stata innalzata stanotte in una delle piazze centrali di Fiume.

Sul tricolore italiano è stato scritto: 'Torneremo in Istria, a Fiume e in Dalmazia". Inoltre, nelle vicinanze sono stati sparsi dei volantini con la scritta: «Viva Fiume italiana!».
