just ensure it is "sim free" from the uk, meaning you can place any sim card in..it's quad band so will work anywhere in the world with typical networks/sim cards

I think it does now with the 3.0 update. But you know what, after I saw the Nokia N97, I hate my iPhone SO MUCH...I want the N97 so badly! What a phone. its only my opinion but, the iPhone 3G s is hopeless compare to others in your wish list.

Because it should be called a push screen instead of touchscreen when dealing with resistive screens. They can never be as precise as capacitive touchscreens and often events are missed or are entirely inaccurate.
