@vox90056 No, that is one of the forms of the Windows CE 5 desktop. The taskbar looks this way in the Windows CE emulator on a PC, and a few Windows CE 5 tablets use the same taskbar as well (like my Mintpass MintPad).
@cumberj001 whats the diference between windows mobile and windows ce? i have a spv c100 2 years old lol with windows rom flashed from 5.0 to 6.1 (tht runs way smoother and better )my first win mobilde device, i wanna buy a pocket pc it will have win ce right?some say tht win ce its like a desktop but i dont get it i see it just as on smartphone 2 just the start button is up ward...
@tranceandsun Well Windows CE it self isn't phased out it'self but Some stores use it. Like at Chapters they use it, mostly to restrict customers form fooling around with the computer. But Some Pricecheckers Use Windows CE, theres a couple of YouTube videos that show it running CE. So it's still supported. Windows Mobile is based on a Different Platform, mostly for phones, and other devices.
@cumberj001 Windows CE is the core OS on top of which the Windows Mobile interface is built. Windows Mobile isn't based on a platform, it IS a platform. Because of this, most Windows Mobile 5 and 6 applications will run on a Windows CE 6.0 netbook or tablet (though sometimes you have to add some dynamic link library (DLL) files from the Windows Mobile platform.
@tranceandsun I'm assuming theres many editions of Windows CE, but i'm not sure. You could be right if Windows CE is actually used on Phones. But you'll mostly likely find them on Sat navigation, Older Palm phones etc....
the ce 3 picture is actually ce 2.11, and the truly ce 3 picture is nowhere to be seen. Other than that, that Windows CE history video is nearly there.
Windows Mobile 2003 was listed as being released in the year 200.
A few problems with content:
You skipped over Palm-Sized PC and Pocket PC 2000 entirely it seems. Windows Mobile did not completely replace Windows CE, even in the consumer markets. A few devices still run Windows CE, though it's hidden on many, like in the case of many GPS units. No other huge errors strike me in this vid, unlike the 2007 one...
Still using the wrong desktop screen for "CE 3.0" (Handheld PC 2000) - it should have the "Windows Powered" logo, and the blue "Windows CE" banner is no longer on the Start Menu.
music?
DaveG121 1 month ago
@DaveG121 The song can be only found in Windows XP. (C:\WINDOWS\system32\oobe\) It's called 'title' Which I don't have anymore.
cumberj001 1 month ago
@cumberj001 damn microsoft must of stopped supplying free music with their operating system cause of S.O.P.A.
DaveG121 1 month ago
@DaveG121 Lol, I find that funny!
Even though I live in Toronto, I'm still against S.O.P.A.

why don't you just delete the old vid, rather than advertising the new one on it?

@Paspiedreamcast Well the reason I have it up because I have an adsence account. And that video is linked up to it. So you will see ads below,

Two major typos I caught:
'therefore' instead of 'before'
