It depends on a number of things such as sun exposure, skin type, etc. It may be that the makeup has aged her skin, but she also may have not taken proper care of her skin by washing hr face frequently, using quality products and taking off her makeup each night etc. So take care of your skin ladies!

if its everyday, matte should be better- shimmer isnt strictly for going out at all, but its just less likely to be messy and more appropriate if you wear matte
