  • @InjectedMushroom Thanks, too bad I'm still a pizza boy during the daytime. No pro here.

  • @jeffie7 its not the current job that counts, its the skill, i'm nearly homeless and i wanted to make movies and music, so don't feel bad man, your stuff is good :)

  • RESPEKT

  • Awesome and touching playing mate! great sounds too!

  • @LAZERFIST888 I've been playing with a lot of EastWest Quantum leap software. Coin VS Dimension pro but its easily better.

  • wow!! but this instrument come from your keyboards or the instrument is of dimension pro? sorry for my english1 xD

  • Beeyoutifull..!!

  • is the camera on the roof? haha this is good im tryin to take piano lessons u could of just inspired me

  • Exellent. Anyone recommend a good 88 weighted key controller for use with my PC? I know M-Audio have the Pro keys, any other ones?

  • @methodinsane Here are some great Midi Controllers: Novation ReMOTE SL MkII, Fatar VMK 188 Plus, Arturia Analog Experience, Akai MPK 61, EMU LONGboard 61, M-Audio Axiom Series......aaaaand Doepfer LMK4+ (about 1.500 US $) ;-)

  • Need a better hold pedal dude.

  • I just bought a Yamaha S910 & Sonar 8.5 producer version...but i dont know how to attached my Keyboard to my Creative Xtereme Sound card which doesn't have any midi input...while my keyboards has got loads of output options..i dunno how i make use of my US$450 spent on software...is there any middle hardware required for this?

how make the best use of both of my investments...pl help

  • @lavishfaraz they make midi-usb get one its cheap

  • @lavishfaraz you can get a midi>usb converter to attach to your pc..

  • awesome!

  • Beautiful voicing and wonderful playing! First rate. That is a magical sound. . .

  • Is the keyboard key clicking sound annoying when you play?

  • @montezumasrevenge nope in sonar 8.5 they added a piano synth called true pianos itssounds very convincing except for the thunking in the low range but dont worry it can be filter out still annoying though.

  • what is the name of this song? or is it selfcomposed?

  • Great playing man. I use Dimension Pro and Sonar 8. Dimension Pro is so flexible and even the sound librarys that ships with it are outstanding. Can be a bit cpu intensive though, but running with a couple of hardware synths you cant beat it.

  • Wow, if I could only play like that! That is just amazing. Somtimes when I play, I think my cat wants me to shut the heck up and stop playing that racket, LOL.

I'm getting demision pro tomarow (only 60 bucks for what it is! That I love)

I do too want to know how long you've been playing for.

  • good stuff - what is the Dimension Pro preset called please?

  • Words cannot describe how peaceful this sounds. How long have you been playing?

  • By the way, you play wonderfully

  • But for my studio, its all about VSTi's and my main controller which is an M-Audio Keystation 88 Pro.

  • You know The Motif ES 8 is really a great synth....noting that you use it as a controller means that the sound that is produced by VSTi instruments like Dimension Pro is unbelievable. Hardware synths really have a hard time because of their limitation of sound ROM... New sounds of course can be created but there is nothing like having hundreds and hundreds of gigabytes from today's high end sound libraries....But I love the Motif series...I have the original Motif 8.

  • @scott93257

I remember a few years back thinking how I'd never use software synths.... weird how things change.

  • @jeffie7

yes indeed it is... Technology has advanced so much and sampling techniques have really come a long long way... BTW...I really LOVED your performance...really stirred a lot of emotion in me.. Great music always does

  • @scott93257 Wondering if you can tell me which voice patch this is from the Dimension Series, I have 1.5 with some add ons.

  • wow Dimension Pro's piano sounds pretty good

  • I was talking with Timothy Swartz from Digital Sound Factory he sells all the Emu sounds for Dimension and he said that kontakt 4 and Dimension pro sounds about the same

  • @Mehdo35 THATS NOT TRUE AT ALL- oops caps lock sorry- kontakt sounds better than dimension in terms of realism.. it can access large sample libraries and there are many good ones available.

  • How about a sheet music? :>

  • Nice...

  • Just WOW!, it sounds epic, only if I can, I will post a drum track, the problem is that I only think in metal stuff so sorry if you dislike about that (ofcourse the drum track will bi som progresive rock and not heavy metal) Best regards.

  • Simple question:

    ES or XS?

  • ES, but it doesn't really matter it's only being used for a controller. No sounds are coming from the ES.

  • Nice work man motif rules i am a proud xs owner

  • I like my Motif however for this video it was nothing more then a controller.

  • this peice got me stuck on the screen.

    God bless

  • Very Very nice

how long you play piano ??

    greetz from Germany

  • about 23 years

  • I enjoyed your beautiful playing Jeffie. I'd like to hear more of your improvs. Looks like Dimension Pro inspired you a bit

  • Wow Jeffie, very talented.. lol I'm sub'd for the powerlab vids but this was very nice also.
