  • While im not so sure on his recipie(though by the looks of things he knows more then my amature attempts) this dose look like a real nice bar and that looks like a nice drink ive goto try that thanks for the video

  • He says 1 ounce of bacon grease for 750ml bourbon, yet he scoops off what looks like way more than 6 ounces of fat from the bourbon. What's right?

  • Listen, tools - I know it's hard 2 follow everything from your Mom's basement what with the bad lighting & dripping pipes & everything... my problem with this "demonstration", having spent 25 years behind the pine, is that this dipsh*t is grabbing ice cubes like he's making meatballs. It's wrong. It doesn't matter that you don't know the difference between right & wrong, objective reality is indifferent to your ignorance. It is wrong. If he was working 4 me, I'd fire his bacon infused ass.

  • Decent drink, but someone needs to teach this "bartender" that he NEVER touches a guest's glass rim, let alone handling all of this ice. Man invented scoops and tongs and it was good.

    I meant that in the sense that this drink was being made for demonstrational purposes only. Plus, any bartender would know better before doing that for a patron. For the DIY folks at home, I doubt they care.

  • @damasterblaster also: he's not putting his hand on the glass rim. He's rubbing the orange peel around it so that orange aroma stays near the nose. it's a very common technique use in classic and contemporary bars...i'm surprised you aren't familiar with it.

  • larger ice doesnt melt as fast, plain and simple, thats about it

  • Keep in mind I know knowing about drinks or making them :D lol... but I think if you break the cubes they are more likely to melt.
