  • Smooth running! Another great inspirational model, EeeGee. Thanks for posting. As far as the comments re speed go, I say, get it running at just the speed that feels good to you and leave well enough alone - what I see in this video seems fast for a prototype, sure, but a) it's pleasant to the eye and amusing to watch, and b) it's the kind of speed that, frankly, I would expect to see in a tinplate toy, which it seems is what you're attempting to create... So... Go for it, Baby!

  • EeeGee, that's a nifty little contraption and will look right at home on a tin-plate layout "ICE"

  • You are right! Mine moves more like a sewing machine than a pumpjack right now. I will be changing to a much slower motor, but for now this is all I have.

  • Hey; your pumpjack is too fast! Nice workmanship. Pumpjacks are run by hit-or-miss gas engine, makes pleasant sound.
