xyberfunk, I know more about my own country than you do and I have never been the victim of a crime here. I know people who live in USA who say they are scared to go out alone. I have never had that problem here. I used to live in a place where no one locked their house or car doors. I don't know what part of London you were in but where I was I walked up to total strangers in the street to ask my way and not only were they helpfull we had a laugh and joke too. Maybe you give out negative energy

There was an anti-war protest by some Muslims wen British soldiers came back from Afganistan/Iraq in March this year. It was a homecoming march, not funerals. There were no coffins, just marching soldiers who were very much alive.
But we have Free Speech here like US so just as bnp can protest if they wish, muslim protesters are also free to protest against the 2 wars & the killing of iraqi/ afgani children & innocents if they choose to do so. That's democracy.
