@VideoScenario slowly grinding and constantly cooling down with water. annoying but doable. thats actually how most knives are made. edge comes on after the heat treat... i have ordered some custom design widgydashi designed by me with some extra features so hopefully we'll see them here soon. they are being water jet cut now so lets see how they will come out once i get them...

Haven't seen this done before, I think it's a very cool variation on the Kiridashi knives. And yeah, you can pry with the other end and not feel bad about it. I think the way you have set up the sheath for that is genius!

i think it's a little redundant. i dont know about anyone else, but i like to use my knives.

@stun279 trust me i have many knives and love to use them but i find myself in many situations when i just dont want to use my blade if i dont have to and this thing works perfect for me. dont know, everybody has different taste and use of things so it all comes down to personal preference just like the selection of the knife. so far ppl actually like this idea. some might love it, some might hate it :) like with just about everything :)
