Why do men of Alpha glorify the APE when in fact, they are sphinxmen?

i just think its bizzare to glorify something that showed that you weren't done....

Our Fraternity and most African American Greek lettered Organizations have secret meanings to why they do certain things. The Fraternity has two iconic symbols and those are the Sphinx and the Ape, I cannot release to you the reasons for that without violating the Vow of the Sphinx Club. Just know it has everything to do with Africa. In case you didnt know, the riddle of the Sphinx is the reason behind the Ape.
