i doubt it is. I've played it and had to not crash in order to beat him. i was always on 4th or 5th gear the whole time but on 1 turn

I stay 3rd and 4th gear to beat him..i use shortcuts too...you're car is fast if it's 4th and 5th gear lol

lol its just that at some of the turns, the rail isnt there, therefore u can turn earlier and jump over the grassy part
