Most liberals live in a fairy tale world where socialism and communism merge together. There is not God (except the pagan god ofr political correctness) and everyone must march in a lock step and agree on everything...like in the Soviet Union.

The suggestion below that Nixon was a neo-conservative shows how people have no idea what neo-conservatism means. They seem to think that neo-conservatism is the conservatism they have to contend with now as opposed to the conservatism that is safely in the past. More interestingly, two of Mr. Buckley's criteria of what the next president should not be describe Obama closely: 1. "He shouldn't crave the idolatry of world opinion." 2. "He shouldn't form too high an opinion of himself."

This is such an interesting video because everything he says here reflects the last of Buckley's generation of conservatives. Nixon won the election and was obviously not the man described in Buckley's erudite fashion, and with Nixon came the 2nd generation of conservatism aka neo-cons.
