you should use vista 64 bit with that amount of ram, +2 gb, i recommend 64 bits though you can have till 4 gb, your machine will thank you

can anyone help me cuz im wondering i got : quad core 4 x 2.66 ghz geforce 9500 gt 6 gb ram 64 - bit so when i put crysis on highest settings with no AA and like 1280-1024 resloution or w/e i get about 15 fps so i was thinking of gettings a geforce 9800 gtx what would my fps be then? with the same settings but a 9800 instead of 9500

Well, on 1280x1024 a 9800GTX with max would run perfectly at about 40FPS with full AA and VSync. But if you go to way higher resolutions, like 1900x1200, then your framerate will take some serious hits.

dude calm down, everyone knows nastyguard007 is bullshiiting. I have a 4890 which is better then the gtx 260 in most cases overclocked to 960/1100 and i only get 28-45 fps very high 4x AA.

none the less all the listed cards are descent cards, but none of em can pull off 40 fps average at highest settings.

you know, I'm tired of this whole "the 4890 is better than the GTX 260" shit, frames per second is not EVERYTHING, there's a place for performance, and then there's a place for other things, like 3D gaming, which is currently not possible with ATI.

people think 3D gaming is cheesy, but it really is not.

even if Nvidias card was 10 - 20 fps slower, it would still be able to let you play games in 3D.

i think i would rather sli either a gtx 260 black or 280 for cheaper and get better performance than paying 500 big ones for a 295. And if you tri-sli 3 gtx 285's it will smoke a quad sli 295. Although it may be a little more moola.

It's multiplayer map. U can run it in single from console, but no enemys there, just few places to get weapons. This map is created more to show how real jungle in game should look like :P

Yeah im not very rich but i work in computer service. When i was buying this PC it would cost casual man about 1800euro or 2500$ (with monitor, keyboard etc.) - for me a lot cheaper :P
