  • Man! I can't wait to tree plant with Brinkman this year. This video really shows how grand it'll be! I'mma die a vet tree planter high baller! Thanks for the video!

  • I love how at 0:21 he plants right next to the pine seedling at his foot. Fuck naturals! Glad to see they werent respected back then either

  • this is gravy!

  • This song feels just like treeplanting in Malakwa in 1986 for Crow Point. The only thing missing is deep green slash, rain, mud, bad roads and bugs. Despite all the difficulties, treeplanting looks to be just as much joy as it was in my youth...

  • the rap part is the best, with the planting hoes in the background and such.. well done. i still miss planting..

  • @fagslav Baba Brinkman, probably conceived on the clearcuts, child of the owner's/ founders' of Brinkman & Associates........... and the heir to the company i suppose.... search him on youtube, he's got a great one about Harper and many others

  • AWESOME!! (but, umm, not actually a waltz...)

  • anybody know where i can stream the 'do it with joy" video from the 70s? sooo classic

  • This is hilarious! and awesome! Thanks for that.

  • Wow !!! Grate song...Grate clip...We use to say shut up and plant ,but now...?

    Waltz up and plant !!

  • Tree planting sucks bag. It's not fun like is depicted here at all. When I was planting in Alberta, most of my fellow planters smelled and were really ugly. I'd rather be blind, deaf and paralyzed than date a tree planter...but that's just me...each to their own! ;)

  • @ipreferFireFox it's only no fun if you're no fun

  • I get this song stuck in my head on the block all the time. Totally gets me through the day! So great!

  • It pleases the boys, too!

  • This is completely delightful. :)

  • anyone know where i can download this song?

  • @scuzzulus Just search "smoky tiger" on iTunes

  • AHHAHAHAH beauty...just like the logrollers waltz

  • that company was folklore based in Prince George BC. big company. little respect for their planters. steer clear.

  • I'd have to go ahead and disagree with you on both points there.

This is 100% a Brinkman camp and not Folklore. And, having worked with Folklore for the past 3 years, I would say they have the utmost respect for their planters in every aspect, rendering your comment, essentially inaccurate and thus unfounded.

  • Brinkman Camp not floklore!

  • Clouch0284: This is Brinkman.

You can recognize us by our style and flair baby.

  • Yes...yesss...completely! What a radical video and what looks like a good crew! what co. is it?

  • Awesome!!!!

  • This is a fantastic video! my type of waltz

  • looks great,if only it was like this here in new Zealand

  • "The tree planters waltz pleases the girls...completely"!! ROFL. That's awesome!

  • Awesome! Wish I could be there

  • this totally just made my night - I'm sitting here doing a project researching the methods of research ethics [bore] and I just watched this. BOY ! I miss the outdoors and honest labour etc... of the planters life - makes me just want to say F* it and run off again.... Thanks for the vid.

  • This is great!

  • sweet vid man

  • f-ing sweet. Almost makes me want to go back planting...almost :P.

  • I love the work hard play hard dexterity of this video, it captures the hypnotic intensities that waltz planters back each year. Bangin song times ten too.

  • Ahh the memories!

  • damn im excited for next season

  • Frick, this is so awesome! I'm totally going to be humming this all day planting.

  • Great video, looks like a fun time. What club and city is that footage from?

  • Smokey TIger is a god

  • Hope you paid royalties to Wade Hemsworth for "The Log Drivers Waltz".

  • That was a thing of great beauty- sirs and madam, i take my pith helment off to you!

  • This video is great! It supports Canadian culture soo well :) Think its incredible that we had a song about logging back in the day and now we have a song about putting them back in the ground.

  • wicked tune! I love the synth line and drums. Smoky T, you have quite a voice! special gem this.

  • Can I hire you guys to come and plant trees on my property in WA? :>)

Not only are you a lot more efficient than I am, it's much more entertaining!

  • Looks like a whole lot of fun. What a great thing to be doing and total bonus that the girls are pleased completely.

    Nice one :)
