  • I like the effort, but:

    10) A garlic presser isn't a time saver. It takes a lot of time to clean it thorougly. Knife is way quicker (and you get the whole clove, the press doesn't!)

    9) Don't know what it is, don't think I need it.

    8) If touching meat disgusts you, you should consider going vegetarian.

    7) Common household item, wouldn't call it time-saver.

    6) see 7

  • I have a rice cooker and I love it :> Thanks for all the helpful videos.

  • i want to bang you doggy style natalie.

  • nice little titties. can you do this topless next time?

  • Soymilk???? wtf soy is horrible for you.

  • but veggies don`t have so much fibers? atleast that`s what I heard.

  • i would love to access those titties.

  • natalie can you please wear some lingerie next time?

  • Would you be able to video tape a sunday cooking fest! I would love to see some of the recipes you use.

  • Natalie, I think most of these devices are great. But, I wanted to make note of the fact that using the last item with plastic bags that cling to the food is bad for two reasons. For one, plastics aren't very safe and dangerous chemicals can leach into the food, especially if it's wet food. Second, using these plastic bags is quite bad for the environment. Couldn't we just freeze food in glass containers?

  • You mean cup??

  • In Hungary we don't use cops and such for measurements. We use gramms. So here we have scales.

  • you means "cups" right?

  • Yeah, sorry, listening to it and commenting during work and that's not the best for avoiding typos.

  • by the crock- pot, it is pronounced butt crack pot ( the butt is silent. Like cocoa, the "a" is Silent)

    Another Post by Shadowstarr, Wisecrack.

  • slow cookers are excellent for busy people and you can cook healthy meals

  • i want to get in her pants.

  • SOYMILK IS BAD FOR YOU. natalie please do some research on how soy is processed.

  • Im in love with her

  • These are great ideas. Do you have a favorite recepie book that you use. I just purchased a crock pot and would like ideas for healthy meals. Thanks!!!

  • how are these time savers??? These are kitchen gadgets but not time savers at all.

  • The time savers are cooking meals in advance and freezing them. Warm up time is usually about 5 minutes in a microwave. You can't cook a meal in 5 minutes. It doesn't save time if your too busy or don't have the time to cook the large meal.

  • We love you too! (but who says "y'all"??) 8-b

  • LOl me . But great vid, I might purchase the vacuum sealer , sounds like a great idea! Cheers

  • In the beginning, the earth was null, and void.

On the first day, God said "let there be garlic and cilantro, that good food may exist!" God then sniffed his creations and knew they were good.

  • On garlic, It also keeps the vampires at bay.

  • Natalie,

Thank you sooooo much for your videos. It has given me new insight into food. I've put away pop and substituting it with Green tea. I stay away from the "bad foods" and have eaten while grains, and fresh produce as much as possible. I have done these for two weeks now. I'm a 41 years old male asian. My goal this year was to find my sixpack. I can see the first top two now (2/6).

    Keep up the great work,

    Thankful,

    Le

  • I LOVE all of your videos. I have learned so much from you to the point where I have a completely different life style when it comes to my new eating habits.

    Thanks

    xoxoxoxo

  • What about a micro-wave oven?

Isn't it one of the top Kitchen time saver?

  • doesn't steaming veggies really deplete the vits & mins because it's so hot? I heard that before.

  • Depends how long you cook them.

Lightly steaming vegetables is probably the best way to cool them if you aren't going to eat them raw. They should still be somewhat crunchy. If they are soft and mushy the enzymes will have been altered so they will no longer function.

  • Good tips; however, people shouldn't turn their crock pots on in the morning and go to work.

It could burn their houses down.

  • So could leaving on any other electronic appliance

  • I heard a good joke related to this comment: I came home to a pissed off wife one day. She says, "You left the electric blanket on ALL day! You could have burned the house down!" I thought about it for a second and said, "So your telling me we sleep in something for 8 whole hours a night that could randomly catch fire and burn us alive? At least we're out of the house when i do it my way."

  • juicing is pointless, you waste the fibre, just blend them or put in a smoothie you need to eat it, why throw it away? as MR T would say "i pity the fool!"

  • your the best channel in all of youtube.. thank you guys.

  • When it comes to steaming vegetables I like the Chinese bamboo baskets. You can stack them up on top of each other and put anything you want in each basket. Now everybody put both thumbs up. lol

  • Those bamboo baskets are great aren't they? The only problem i had was after using them for a while, a certain few baskets started taking on the flavor of the specific veggie i was steaming- so i just designated that basket for that veggie. I realize things could get a little cluttered this way, but they do an awesome job

  • I agree but I only have a triple-decker so it works fine. Don't tell Natalie but they're great for steaming Chinese buns. mmmmmmm, lol.

  • yea crock pot lol i luv the juicer

  • CROCK POT FTW!!!

  • Very helpful! I dread the kitchen but you have some really practical advice. I would like to be liberated from restaurants, but not be a chef, help!

  • ooo! another great invention is the steamer microwave bag. they come about 10 to a pack i actually reuse them. i put a little olive oil and salt and pepper in the bag, and they are delicious! my favorite is broccoli, garlic, and carrots together

  • this was great!!!

    thank you soo much

  • You forgot to mention the microwave. Canned and frozen vegetables can be cooked in the microwave in a couple of minutes.

  • microwave is horrible, it deranges the molecular structure of food and we can only imagine the effects in the body over time.

I knew a scientist who did studies that were kept secret, the only thing he would tell us is he would NEVER use a microwave.

  • well why did he keep them secret then...

  • because he was told by his superiors not to...i imagine not to alarm the public...besides there is depopulation thoughts of elite of the too many serfs on this planet since the early 70s or so

  • lol, she said "y'all".

  • what a beautiful teacher u are

  • "With a holistic view of nutrition and health, Natalie expresses a genuine desire to help those with chronic illness as well as those who simply want to take care of their bodies."

Beautiful? Yes. But genuine. Very rare.

  • Another awesome video. Keep up the good work.

  • Very informative video once again. What is a good protein powder to add to my smoothie? Any good brands you can suggest? I was thinking about getting "whey protein" from GNC Nutritional store...but I think thats more for like body builders which i'm not into.

  • You are beautiful and have so many good things to say,i do have few of the things you mentioned and i think the same way too

  • Informative. But too wordy.

  • What are your thoughts on rice milk?

    Thanks in advance.

  • Great info! Thanks, Nat & Mike!

  • you are beautiful

  • Thank you,but I already have all of those things. (I love to cook.)

  • cool!

  • hey natalie - great video.

    a few questions:

what is your opinion on caffeine ?

do you agree with the 300mg a day rule, or would you advise one to avoid it because of dehydration and digestive issues?

what about green tea and the health benefit claims?

    thanks

  • I think she covered that in her "How to feel like crap" video :)

  • Thank you for all the great tips. Mary

  • Natalie looks like she has a very healthy colon!:))

  • We need to get back to basics...just remember to read your food labels! Thanks Nat..your great. Raw smoothies are my way of eating things I normally don't...use fresh ginger and cinnimon with oatmeal, yogurt, spinach and banana...mmmm...mmmm...good.

  • $10 would feed a family in Seattle of 4 for 6 days...

  • Do women still cook?

    ...ahhh...those were the days

    garlic is purity

    eat the whole fckn thing..ok?

    !

  • One of my weakness is that I am not good at preparing drinks such as tea. So, if you know anything about that please share with us. I normally buy tea bags from an Organic Food Store in my little town.

  • I use bulk green tea (from Asian market) and a large tea ball in a 2 cup pyrex measure. Make a concentrate and dilute with water to make a gallon, serve cold...I use homegrown Stevia leaf in the brew...amazing.

  • This is an interesting video about cooking stuffs. I am returning to take turns cooking dinners with my housemates this coming week. I am excited because this is the first time I am going back to normal cheerful life. :)

  • You're producing some terrific and interesting videos Natalie! My number one kitchen cooking time saver - Pizza Hut! lol sorry take care!

  • Another wonderful video! Thank you so much for taking the time to share your knowledge with us! You Rock!

  • Pretty, perky and smart too!

    DJP

  • Great video! Very simple, and easy to follow, yet will save us time. Thanks Natalie!

  • Good tips. Don't bother with the garlic press. Smashing the clove with the broad side of the knife works just as well, as is recommended by most chefs in the cooking shows I've seen.

    mmmm ... sloww cookin' ...

  • Thanks Natalie:-) Your videos are just wonderful, no complicated jargon, no fancy words, just plain, down-to-earth, cutting-edge advice, tips, hints and sharing your vast knowledge in such a beautiful way with us you tubers!

You're a joy to watch, just like a friend popping in for a chat :-)

    You're a STAR!:-)

    Baz
