  • You need a better understanding of the phrase 'come from'. Have a think about what it really means, and you will probably answer your own question.

Understanding and answering the question yourself is one of the only ways in which you can permit yourself to understand the answer.

  • I think that scientists will discover more once they calculate higher dimensions into their theory. Such as the 13th D. Not everything is explained here by the 11th. We use our 'brains' to reason (which is finite in our current world of existence), and we use our "eyes" to see. But again these are limited by our life here as physical organisms. We are restrained as humans in Time & Space on Earth. Someday (or rather in some other wave) we, as pure consciousness, will see. Not now as we stand.

  • wow scientists sounding crazier than clowns

  • @Kamaldebs yeah if your to stupid to understand it.

  • This wasnt on parallel universes it was basically one the big bang lol because they didnt give enough information on the universes

  • This shit blows my mind.

  • @304desmond totally!!!!! damn!

  • 6:27 hoarders?

  • Who gives fuck if there there is a parallel universe where everyone is Brad Pitt and has bank accounts as large as Bill gates when our miserable reality is the one in which we have to live in?

Fuck this. This is only mental masturbation and escapism...

  • madness can be so camoflaged as intellect

    wots all this BS

  • Stupid questions time:

    1.how big where those membranes?

2.what the hell they mean by membranes anyways?

  • Comment removed

  • Alan Guth has a hoarding problem..

  • it seems like there is still alot about the universe we still don't understand........

  • Just before the big bang...

God: "Shut that door, damnit, my branes'll go all over the place"

    Multiverse: brzzzzplop

God: "There! You did it. And now guess who will be blamed! "

  • I wanna know more about their laboratory parallel universe creation :)

  • So Professor Kaku is also a master figure skater?

  • But if two parallel universes slapped together and made a big bang to create this one, wouldn't those universes have to have been made the same way, ad infinitum?

  • @Gothiclovesick That's what they are saying... If the number of universes is infinite... yada yada etc.

  • @lesterismyname But that's what I just don't understand...What is the source?

  • @Gothiclovesick There isn't a source... Also... if there is a source, then there is an infinite number of sources. It's what I think is probably likely. So to surmise... What ever source there is for the universes that exist, there would have to be a source for that, and a source for that... It creates an infinite regression. So if there are an infinite number of universes, and thusly an infinite number of sources, and sources of sources... You can see where it gets a bit ..?

  • 3 physicists 1 train HA I think its gonna compete with 2 girls one cup

  • Could the parallel universes of Hugh Everett and the multiple dimension of String Theory be future possibilities of what might happen within our one three dimensional Universe? A dynamic Universe that we can interact with creating our own future!

  • i think my mind has exploded has exploded because kno1 kno's wat to believe any more not even the scientests themselves this bubble theory of universes is a very high possibiltiy but wtf created them? n so on etc etc

  • ouff holyyy fuckk

  • It is slightly implied that these membranes are some sort of everexisting form of energy

  • i AM fascinated by all these videos of theories and i love michio kakou, but it fascinates me even more that my fellow intelligent youtube viewers get so mad at the thought of a God! I personaly believe there is a God and that our lives simply do not end at death, maybe death is just the door to another dimension or universe, Edgar Cayce explained this very detailed, i find everything cayce said to be believable

  • @eagleeye2391 o'rely

  • @eagleeye2391 umm did you just watch the same thing we all did? God could have passed centuries ago as a way to feebly describe existence but God doesn't equate in the mathematics. To know the workings of the universe takes the dedication of the sciences not mysticism. Stephen Hawking said himself there was no afterlife and i believe him completely over any bullshit Edgar Cayce had to say. Celebrated Cosmolgist or a psychic no nothing? Stephen Hawking FTW.

  • @littleredrhea you can believe whoever you want but hawking believes there is no afterlife, he doesn't KNOW!, and bullshit? Go read a book about him, are you aware that there are parts in the universe where some laws of physics don't apply? proving your math wrong, stephen should use his powerful brain to get out of that chair

  • @eagleeye2391 why would anyone bother with Edgar Cayce and reading him up? he has nothing to do with this AT ALL. Heaven and Hell is here on earth and not not something we wait for in the 'afterlife' Don't you realise your trying to tie it all up in a pretty little bow? And yes there are places in which the laws of physics don't apply because we do not yet know the mathematical applications to work it out, but no you go on ahead and try and fit your afterlife snugly in there. you make me laugh.

  • steven hawking is an idiot.......

  • @TheMaliceofone no he suffers from a motor neurone disease and even then this genius knows more about the mechanics of the universe than his contemporaries.

  • If the universe came from membranes colliding, then where did the membranes come from?

  • after all this all i can say is fuk nos .....how was the membranes made ..wot made them? wot made that? and so on ahhhhhhhh.....

  • @sadhaklal what came first, the chicken or the egg

  • @MrHarriecunt Well it was the egg, since birds evolved from reptiles, and therefore the first bird must have come out of an egg, laid by a reptile.

  • @MrHarriecunt - This is another one of those most common questions but whose essence is intelligent and very doubtful.

Chicken came first since there won't be an egg if there's no chicken to lay it in first place. The egg is made inside of the womb chicken, which we obviously know.

But why the chicken? Evolution states that the chicken is a successor of evolution from its recent chicken-like ancestor which evolves into a chicken. It continually evolves until it became the chicken of today.

  • @xXxEL1TExXx I REALLY think that metaphor should be changed into "what came first, the chicken or the chicken's egg" because obviously, if it can be any egg from any animal vs chicken, the egg is clearly the first one.

However, if it was changed, then the obvious answer would be chicken, seeing as there can be no chicken egg without a chicken to lay the egg first. Unless it evolved from another birdlike animal into chicken in one generation.

  • @sadhaklal - Another dimension? :)) This matter is really hard to settle on a stable point of explanation.

  • @sadhaklal since universes and branes are vibrational energy, they don't need to come from anywhere but exist through the consciousness of the Creator and your individualized consciousness. Since a hermetic axiom is mind is all and all is mind, think of hyperspace as an infinite neural network, fractal to the neural network living in your head

  • @sadhaklal the guitar of god

  • @sadhaklal i do not belive it is a physical membrane so much as a membrane of energy. but that energy has to take some form hence the membranes.

  • @sadhaklal good question, nice how they avoided that one in the documentary...

  • @sadhaklal my ass my bad lol MUHAHAHAHAHA dow downnnnnn

  • @sadhaklal just think GOD and let it be the end all to all.

  • @sadhaklal Good question, but not an easy one. We simply don't know, however just because we don't know, that doesn't mean a God did it.

  • @sadhaklal as it affects the average person, the question's moot. As it affects physicists, give them another 20 years or so and they'll have the answer for that too. But then that will lead to a whole new set of questions and it will continue on and on until even most physicists admit that it's moot as well. As for most religion, they'll just keep on saying the same thing they do now.

  • For people wanting to know where membranes came from, & therefore claim God created them, it still falls down to an original singularity.

Now scientist are just scratching this idea but for religion it still falls down to what created a God. As some of these religious sided past comments have stated; God created everything, well their had to be something in which God was after so He could exist, so their God could do His so called thing,

Which brings us back to parallel Universes.

  • "But the victory may be bittersweet..." What?! What's negative about that? Multiverses are a negative thing because it makes our universe less unique? I don't understand that kind of thinking. Multiverses makes reality even more fascinating! Ego-thinking inherrated from religious world wiews still affects human perceptions, even in the 2000s, obviously...

  • This documentary is fucked, its like saying our universe can be the size of an atom which makes up a guys scrotum

  • so what they said at the end is i could be a creator, the lord and master of a UNIVERSE! that i created in my garage.....

  • @chanson301 Pretty much mate. Your observation of the universe creates it.

Observation collapses a in-determined wave function creating reality. I'm afraid you can't master it though, it just is what it is.

  • @benbennit best comment made on this video award goes to you sir.

  • i am sorry, u lost me in fifth dimension...

  • there is no beginning and no end this universe is infinite but not our earth and the creation is perfect from many spiritual pooint of view

  • Where did brains/membranes come from? Assuming it is true and that time existed before the big bang, What started time? Also are these membranes and brains still producing matter? It is sad that scientists struggle to remove God out of the equation, but the all our findings are pointing to one direction. CREATED MULTIVERSES

  • @avinnnny

God was never in any equation. He was in primitive myths and fear-mongling political structures. He was in all the holes of human knowledge that we did not want to live with. Throwing the god fantasy into the equation does'nt solve anything but the personal need for religious beliefs. The same questions remain. So let's move on allready...

  • Where did brains/membranes come from? Assuming it is true and that time existed before the big bang, What started time? Also are these membranes and brains still producing matter? if so prove it!!!!!!!

  • so if we can make a universe then isnt it possible our universe was made by people, meaning we are infact our own Gods? That confuses me more than the salvia binge i had the other day

  • so basically my life means nothing

  • I sometimes think the BBC does more harm than good for science.

  • Were there many "big bangs" on our universe/brane? With hyper-acceleration dispersing matter and energy over trillions of years, there is a point where entropy would diffuse even the tiniest subatomic particles so far to be undetectable. Instruments would indicate literally nothing there: an empty universe. A new collision of branes causing another big bang would seem to be from nothingness, although remnants of other big bangs are still there, just extremely diffused and undetectably far away.

  • if that scientist successfully create his own universe...then i have a theory that Jesus Christ and his father might be a great scientist before, and they create their own universe and spread the word that they are the God.

  • Insane in the membrane...stuck in my head

  • then who made the Membranes?? GOD?

  • @mycrickethighlights2

no itself, you clearly didnt understand this at all

  • their just pulling strings ... get it??

  • these idiots would be the death of us all

  • Our universe was created in some geek's basement.

  • This still doesn't explain where these "membranes" come from.

  • @mayaherble Thanks. The radiation turns into mass. Got it.

  • can anyone explain how ripples create clumps of matter? I do not understand that leap...

  • Comment removed

  • scientists applauding themselves so they get finance for their research?

when is the next collision due? what might happen?

where did it all come from- these membranes?

even if string theory is i trillionth of a millimitre what is it and how did it came to be?

    so scientists are claiming success??

  • wat

  • so if you gho by this theory then does it just repeat....every membrane was created by colliding membranes....those were ceated by colliding membranes...those were created by colliding membranes etc etc etc etc.... so technically this is not a theory of everything...scientist cant explain it so they make up something else that cant be explained

  • so whee did the fucing parallel universes comefro...what a god damn waste of fucking time

  • @AlKpwn95 This guy is right, listen to him!!!

  • You know, if all things are possible and there are infinite universes, then it seems to follow that somewhere there is a place where there is a God. But I think its pretty clear that THIS is not that place. We didn't get the God universe, we got the non-God universe. Religion was necessary for a while, it moved us forward as a species and was powerful. But now we have science. The dark ages is what resulted when people tried moving back to religion from science.

  • Either way, even if the big bang was caused by two colliding universes or 'membranes', then the question remains: where did these membranes come from? As for me, there is a creative mental force behind it, call it God for all I care. Nothing doesn't exist, never existed and will never exist. There has always been something, therefore, the ALL (every existing universe) has no beginning and no end.

  • @misstiniebop Exactly, for anything to have ever existed, something must have always existed, otherwise you have an infinite regress of events which makes no sense.

  • We can argue about 10 & 11 dimensions until our faces turn blue. Unless people stop believing in superstitious folklore fairy-tales, it will all be for nothing. Debate about what happened before the big bang all you want, but it opposes religious doctrine which people are still blindly clinging to. Ideas which are in our education facilities indoctrinating future generations and creating unintelligent fundamentalist who believe the bible is the exact word of god. What's the real issue here?

  • I wonder if Sheldon was on the train with them

  • There is evidence that the universe can viewed as existing as a hologram in a 5d singularity. There is no evidence to supprot any metaphysical claims by any religion as having any probability of manifesting in any universe in the multiverse. Zero chance in infinite realities. keyword reality.

  • I love this! Amazing and wonderful...

  • Ancient Mezo-american indians believed the universe had 13 dimensions and that the sole thing that unified it was the Cosmic Serpent.

  • This is all very interesting, but I didn't hear any evidence whatsoever. Maybe that is because the evidence is very complicated, but I would at least like it presented to me.

  • @strakha0 yes yu r partially right. the oversimplified all the theories for the sake of documentary cuz it'd take pretty long to explain quantum theory alone let alone other things. like they said they will try 2 create universe in the lab n i think that is very possible and I believe we'd see it happening in our lifetimes. mayb then we'l have even more clear idea of everything :)

  • I wonder still when singularities become parallel to another and is this other singularity just parallel or is completely different but parallel?

  • So the collision of 2 parallels universes produce a big bang which translate to the birth of our universe or a new singularity, did i get it right?.

  • 1:30 "of some encounter of 2 parallel worlds" that is not an explanation it still doesn't deal with where it all came from, it just invents two (or more) new unprovable variables called parallel worlds or branes, that is not science, this line of reasoning is the same as the old ones, saying the universe is infinite, or god has always existed

the god theory being the most probable of those two because the universe is not infinite but it has a beginning and something had to cause it

  • But they still explain where the energy came from in the first place, or can they?

  • Nice uploads, thank you. Did youtube give you copyright problems? I took few seconds from a BBC program and they banned my video in the UK.

  • 3 physicists 1 train. The sequel to 2 girls 1 cup. Description: 3 Physicists collide and have a big bang.

  • I wish all the "god" believers would realise that the multiverse proves that there is no "god" required to create universes and that our universe evolved from the collision of two parent universe membranes. However, seeing as they haven't even understood that our galaxy is full of habitable planets and we aren't unique to the universe, I'm not going to hold any hope of intelligent comments from them.

  • @kiwipeso come to think of it, if god would really exist, and if we believe that he/she/it is like an all powerfull man who created all life forms, god also created aliens. imagine another planet with christian (insert preffered alien : turian, asari, krogan, quarian, predator, ETs and so on XD) . creepy

  • @LP7Dist surely if there was an all powerful god, there would be just one religion and no atheists? Therefore we can conclude safely that any god is just the invention of deluded men who create it in their image.

As for aliens, there are approx. 500 million inhabitable worlds in this galaxy, therefore it is likely to find life is not unique.

  • @kiwipeso How can you be so 'surely' that if there was one true religion, then there would be no atheists? Maybe that one true religion has been subverted and discredited, demolished and made to seem wrong and fake? Just because it does exist, doesn't mean it's brilliance is at all times shining in all its might. Humans can be deceived, round and round.

  • what if in those parallel universes the maths has not the same value as it has in ours? like: here, 1+1=2 , but in another, 1+1=3 , or something like that. that would change the theories that are tied to them, so we may not understand those universes, right? this may be a stupid question, but i really want to know that XP

  • @LP7Dist Maths holds across the multiverse throughout each universe the same in each one. It is the laws of physics which may vary from each universe. This is because we can consider the multiverse to be an infinite quantum computer that gives different answers simultaneously across all possibilities.

I suggest you refer to the holographic universe theory if you want to understand how the laws of physics can be different across universes.

  • @kiwipeso thank you for the answer, i'll check out that holographic universe theory . btw, when you say "It is the laws of physics which may vary from each universe" , you mean that the universal gravity constant , or the light speed may differ from universe to another, for example? ( P.D. sorry if i spelled somethimg wrong, english is not my homelanguage XP )

  • @LP7Dist yes, the holographic universe theory treats the laws of physics as laws of information, so it allows for the computation setup to be different for each universe in the multiverse.

  • this is the relegion of the 21 century :)

  • if there are an infinite number of univesres that are created through the colision of other membrane-universes, how was the first universe created?

  • @victor86tabacaru the same way like they say there ifnite

  • The 11th dimension is a life force pipe, the gravity that is detected is from redundant life forms moving back onto the line.

The 11th dimension is where organisms/life re-group waiting to be pulled into meaningfull existance again.

The 11th dimension is like an ultra violet conveyor belt that spans all dimensions, for life forms of every kind to be pulled into meaningful being or universal duties .

Im serious, this is a great theory!

  • @11thDim , mate the Hindu in me wants to believe what you're saying but do you have anything to back that claim? be it scientific or scripture?

  • I'm going to be that person and be a buzzkill.

Who wastes this much time? What does knowing this actually accomplish? They'll never actually know. Who caressss how the universe began :)

  • hmmm so it end with us just making things even more complicated and even more questions ...... typical humans -_-

  • Why does the last speaker remind me of Dr Strangelove at the end of the film of the same name. All that was missing was the use of Mr President as punctuation

  • total crap theory.

  • amazing videos! thank u frocdog!

  • I savour the smells of my farts

    heil hitler

  • this series blew my mind

  • @andrewcbro This video was way to "new age" got my liking. The new age movement is the subtle persuasion of the nwo, and it's spiritual foundation is absolutely, and often openly luciferian at it's core. It doesn't matter if you don't believe in it, because they do, and you WILL be impacted by their beliefs.

  • but the singularity problem remains.... Where did come all those bubbles?

  • @Aqua1986 Well that can be explain that they have always be there, because rules change in different universes that means that everything we find normal here would be strange there and everything normal there would be strange here. But my question I've always asked myself is why can humans live? Why is it possible for things to live? Not hating life just that asking why are we unlike other matter and just be affected by things around us but also causing affects to things around us?

  • that is so awesome...im so proud of humans

  • i wonder what potency of marijuana yields such a degree of "highness" in which one's mind is perfectly clear to reflect on such mind-boggling theories...

  • @thearchitect27 I was just thinking. i wonder what it would be like to be smoking a spliff whilst watching this

  • @thearchitect27 - its called LSD

  • @thearchitect27 A potency of soberness & meditation would likely yield far better clarity & "highness." First, you just have to let all personal, built-up emotional bullshit bleed out of you, then you can start seeing & thinking more clearly, and be emotionally stronger as a bonus.

  • Comment removed

  • "It's perfectly safe..." Well, didnt they said that as well about the a-bomb?

  • get me a needle, i know how this works now!

  • Maybe the big bang is only the tip of the iceberg...

  • Physics and science end-up with the BIG BANG. Now the question is wht was that big bang ... wht cause the big bang . Who or how that big sphere of (Mass or Energy ?) was created. was is matter or energy ?

  • have a little faith, please. Just because one thing is possible doesn't mean annother thing isn't possuble

  • COOL

  • Interesting programme, but a junkie on acid could have told you that "Our Universe could be just one bubble floating in an ocean of other bubbles", without a degree from Harvard or Cambridge. Past a certain point, it's all becomes pure speculation (i.e. how was the ocean of bubbles created?) which gets us no closer to answering the ultimate question. That is because there is no ultimate answer!

  • what made the membranes?

  • there is no god..... all life has a scientific answer, it just hasn't all been found yet.

  • @kirasaji You have made a statement that you are unprepared to accept there is a god. So you are biased in the first place, closed minded and think too much of yourself - so maybe you think you are a god. Think again.

  • @Masonictoaster9 I only state that, which know is a fact... I WILL be a god someday, and i'll make everyone see.... just you wait.......

  • The interesting point to me is that no matter how far back scientists look back, at some point matter and energy must have been created or it wouldn't exist. If you claim that matter and energys comes out of membranes colliding, then you must explain the creation of the membrane.

  • @intrepidorator

Yes good point. Just as if you believe in creationism you have to explain who created god.

    Damn infinity.

  • @frocdog @frocdog The answer is that the question does not even make sense. It is like asking, What does blue smell like? Blue is not in the category of things that have a smell, so the question itself is flawed. In the same way, God is not in the category of things that are created or caused. God is uncaused and uncreated—He simply exists. God is the uncreated Creator who created the universe and everything in it :).

  • @frocdog why would someone have to explain where God came from?

  • @frocdog the reason I asked that is because atheists don't know where the matter and energy came from, but they seem to know for certain that God didn't create it.

The problem that athiests have is that they are in an unwinnable debate, if they discover the mechanism of the creation of matter and energy, all that has been learned is how God created the universe.

  • @intrepidorator

Christians dont know where the matter + energy came from. neither do muslims or jews. the scientific search for answers isnt exclusive to atheists.

scientists arent doing their research to prove religion wrong. there are scientists from all religious groups.

theres no unwinnable debate. the biggest reason most atheists reject the abahamic religions is coz they refute evolution which is proven fact + fundamental to all natural processes. every1 doesnt know. science is the search

  • @frocdog I have yet to see minor genetic fluctuations create a whole new species - it doesn't happen. Evolution is a godless sweeping generality and a Victorian fantasy. In fact every time there's been a mass extinction you must restart your evolutionary clock - think again. Here's the real reality - What you see on earth has been created and the one who did it is in another kind of space which you cannot see. I have personally seen constructs phase right in and out of our space. Bizarre stuff

  • @Masonictoaster9

look at breeds of dog. there were only wolves and wild dogs like foxes before human influence. our genetic influence (breeding) has given rise to thousands of breeds. some big, some small, some aggressive some placid. we did this in hundreds of years. now imagine nature taking its course over millions of years. PS: u can witness minor genetic fluctuations create new species in cells and bacteria. this is because it happens quicker on the micro scale. bizarre. check it out.

  • @frocdog Wait a minute, lol, you claim that evolution is "proven fact". hmm thats interesting. Is evolution being taught in school as a proven fact now? I was unaware that it is no longer just a theory. I guess Ive been out of school and thinking for myself for too long to know that it was no longer "the theory of evolution".

You are correct when you state that the search for the truth is limited to atheists, in fact I believe that atheists have given up on an honest search for the truth.

  • @intrepidorator (dont quite understand the 'lol') yes evolution is taught as fact. i studied geology at GCSE and A level here in the uk. thats age 14-16 and 16-19. i was never taught by the education system that evolution was to be treated as an alternative to the story of creation.

we had a subject called R.E. in school (religious education) where we learned about all religions and their stories.

dont know about where u are..?

  • define god.

  • @arnaksken God is defined as tne creator of the universe.

  • @intrepidorator God is angry on you. That's why he have removed the letter "h" from your first "the"

  • @frocdog

Infinity exists, knot in a mathematical representation is a points of INFINITE tightness

  • @intrepidorator yeah well said

  • @intrepidorator

concept of infinity, infinity is a very important concept

  • Anyone knows any of the soundtracks in the documentary?

  • I’m going to try to create a universe in my basement.

  • Rockefeller Ice Rink. lol

  • so what they are saying is GOD was having a bubble bath and here we are

  • @vlatin1

wow....I can't believe what I just read....you sure to get a degree on that one. Someone give this man a cookie for he's efforts...

  • @vlatin1 Lol Best Comment Ever!

  • @vlatin1 no there sayin GOD like all other religion is a load of BULLSHIT! period

  • @misterchronic1

Lighten up, I was kidding around.

  • @misterchronic1 What docu were watching-in this one they were trying to explain the material universe, not discussing 'God'

people are funny with the way they let other people's ideas & behavior influence them

like, 'all the ideas I've heard of some sort of supreme being blow dead donkeys, therefore ANY idea that there may be 'something' beyond ourselves must likewise blow' .And then they get all tense at the merest suggestion of the hint of the iota of a possibility of deity and have a hissy
